Anyone seen a wine glass that holds a bottle of wine for under £3 anywhere? I know the pound shops did them at one point but havent seen them for ages. It is a jokey present hence I dont want to spend much

    Hi jamtart

B&M's stores have them in at £2.99 if that helps, not seen them anywhere else yet this year. But will let you know if I do as I want some too.

    HTH

But going to try and relax and enjoy myself HONEST!! Welcome to all that joined yesterday. It's so great on here, everyone is so helpful and encouraging (sp?)

Well yesterday I managed to do loads really, I have redone my todo lists in planner for when I get back, cleared the freezers out and did the iventory ready for the big shop, made 2 frozen family meals for December. Finished off all my packing and packed the car up. Went shopping and got DS1 some more simpsons partyware in homebargins (29p each for balloons, tablecloths, and birthday banners) for his birthday in december.

Still didn't manage the planners though, they will have to wait

Pinkladymel - l forgot about the cream, I better go and pack the apron!! LOL

findingmyfeet - Hope you have a really nice Birthday!!!

Hope you all have a great week.

Morning everyone - welcome to those joining:hello: !

Very cold here this morning - more snow back on the hills! (actually just looked out - it is absolutely beautiful - the sky is dark blue behind the hills and the sunrise is just beginning to show on the snow)

Finished more Hama bead Christmas decorations yesterday for teachers etc. - still got a few to do do.

So my list of ten for this week will be:-

    1. Aim to finish writing bulk of Christmas cards
    2. DD1 to write at least ten cards.
    3. One more meal for the freezer.
    4. Wrap remaining presents from cupboard
    5. Make final list of presents to be bought.
    6. Tidy other messy corner in living room.
    7. Clean windows
    8. Sort cupboard with tins etc
    9. Make list of tins to be bought to stock up for December/Christmas
    10. Plan Xmas Eve hamper

My reward will be some chocolate and watching a bit of an old movie - I'm in the middle of watching 'How to Marry a Millionaire' - never get time to sit and watch it all in one go!!

Sarahf - have a great holiday - wonder how many pages you'll have to catch up on when you get back!!

    Love
    Gill

Okay - that's it - I'm getting things done today!

    1. Put card patterns on ebay for sale.
    2. Go through Christmas gifts in sideboard and double check what's been bought and what hasn't.
    3. Adjust Christmas list as we changed our mind about what we were going to buy for a few people.
    4. Put baby clothing on ebay for sale.
    5. Spend an hour this evening working on getting more Amazon vouchers to help pay for Christmas gifts.
    6. Get out Christmas cds and put in small cd holder to keep out to use.
    7. Get out Christmas dvds from storage box so they'll be available to watch soon.
    8. Clean up dining room as plasterer is coming to redo dining room ceiling tomorrow!
    9. Put together shopping list for Christmas cakes.
    10. Read through recipe for Christmas pudding and decide if I'm up to it this year.

That should have me well on the way to progress. I may not get it all done, but at least I'll feel like I'm moving forward! Christmas is no longer sneaking up - it's looming!
