    Oh dear!!!

I have no idea how that happened sorry ladies!!

Also I read a post earlier that commented on 24 advent crafts/activities for their child to do. I'm planning on doing this for my 2 childern and wondered what ideas you had so far?? I did a very simple list last year but really want to prepare 24 in advance and give the to the children each day as they will really love it!!
Should I start a dedicated thread to share my ideas/get ideas from others???
  • Evening girls, hope you are all ok. Well I had a very productive day - NOT! I spent the day mooching, not really sure where it went really but oh well. My ickle boy is at his Dads at the moment and is due back tomorrow. I just find that when I go to do something I get distracted. My Mum was off work today so came early this morning and took me for lunch and a shop. The came back walked the dog and my brother came round for the afternoon and then him indoors came home and we went food shopping. Then I sat and ate tea and have just finished perving over Lee Stafford on celebrity scissorhands. Anyway EVERYONE is back at work tomorrow, my son is due back at 7pm so really there is no excuse. Am hoping to turn the stereo up and get cracking. Although I did get some more bits for my hampers and some xmas cards today so thats nice and christmas themed.

Thanks Triggles for asking about the whole line crossing thing, was going to ask myself and thanks scattman for explaining so well that even I understood!

Pinkladymel - be afraid, very afraid.....after reading the whole thread I have come to the conclusion that you are the trouble maker! Hahaha only joking hun although I do feel like a bit of a stalker after reading so much about you girls!

Irchy_mum - I know what you mean about thinking that big jobs will take forever. Its normally the small easy ones that are more time consuming here, very strange.

RoxieW - I hope you enjoyed your bath in your clean bathroom, I LOVE a nice bath when I have cleaned mine, makes it seem so much nicer although I get a bit carried away and shove a lush bathbomb in to 'celebrate' and end up spending half an hour cleaning glitter out of the tub (sorry for the non useful info there, felt I needed to share).

Jamtart6 - am loving your uber list although am impressed that you seem so organised already, seems like you are well on your way to a stress free December,

Anyway enough of me babbling on about useless facts and info........to keep it themed - I LOVE XMAS and I LOVE THIS THREAD.

You may boot me off now! xxx

lusting over Lee Stafford eh??? Addictedtolush!!

I went to school with him, we were in the same year and he was v blonde and good looking then (well out of my league) but I saw him a few years ago in person and thought all the fame and fortune (and whatever goes with that) had ravaged his good looks! Obviously he's in his 40's now but I was surprised, now I'm gonna have to watch celeb scissorhands to see him and I'll get back to you!!

Right, well my last list of ten - I didn't manage to get all the things done so I must try harder this week! especially as I'm off work because of the half term hols woohoo
    Last week
    1. [STRIKE]Write out a master shopping list, a final master shopping list! [/STRIKE]:rotfl: Done!
    2. [strike]Clean, [/strike]rearrange [strike]and tidy the living room. -Alost done!
    [/strike]
    3. Get dp to arrange hiring of carpet/sofa etc cleaner for next week, the living room carpet so needs cleaning :o This will be done today.
    4. [STRIKE]Clean out the car, hasn't been done since I bought it in Feb [/STRIKE]:o Done!
    5. Stop spending and stick to the budget I made at the start of the month!!
    6. [strike]Yet again kick the kitchen installation guys backsides to fix a date for installation. [/strike] Sorted! :D Although we're not booked in until the end of November
    7. Sort out the basket of clothes in our room, most are summery I think, so will need washing and storing away. Hmmm!
    8. Buy and get started with painting our room. Doing this morning :D
    9. Make a start on one of the sock monkeys I'm going to give as a Christmas gift.
    10. Errrrrm, there are lots more but i cannot think at the mo, too sleepy

So my new list for this week..
    1. [strike]Arrange flowers to be sent to the lady who found and returned my driving licence! :o I've been meaning to do this for almost two weeks now, she will think I'm just ungrateful!! [/strike] :j Done via Next + cashback :o :rotfl:
    2. Ensure I'm up to date with the bills, I'm just too lazy with this sort of thing although I think I've only the electricity bill to pay :j
    3. Go to B&Q/Focus for the paint and get on with painting our room and the 1 wall in lo's room.
    4. Make apt at hairdressers for mid November.
    5. Make 1 Sock Monkey for a Christmas Gift.
    6. Take lo for his feet measuring again, I am certain he has outgrown those he has.. he was only measured for the first time mid Sept?!
    7. Make a start with hm Christmas Cards, I'm only doing 10 for very close f&f and have all my supplies bought so shouldn't take too long.
    8. Sort the basket of clothing in our room, wash & store all the Summery things.
    9. Make a meal or two for the freezer - Picked this up from here/oc.com, I never usually do this and throw away so much food so I'm hoping by preparing then freezing we'll have less waste and a bit more money :rotfl:
    10. Reply to the backlog of emails/messages on eBay, have the ps3 on - exactly where I knew it would end up, like most of the other games consoles as dp gets bored with them. He wastes so much money

I'm going for my 20wk scan this morning :j so all this will have to wait until after then!
    The £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.

    :j

Oohh arent I doing well. Although I overdid it yesterday and hurt my back so am on strict instructions from hubby to take it easy today. Thing is I dont see him offering. Gave him 3 things to do yesterday - take a box upstairs, hang some pictures and put some bags in the loft. He hasnt done any of them. And I have a friend coming round this morn so it means lugging the box upstairs myself. Then he goes mad at me for doing it!

Got a busy day today - friend coming round at eleven, then taking the kids trampoleening this aft, then to dentists - so the ironing may have to wait until tomo.

    Little list for today -

    1) Have some photos printed in black and white to put in frame
    2) Put xmas pressies in big xmas pressie box
    3) Buy card and wrap for coby b day
    4) Make 3 more halloween hampers

It is my wedding anniversary on friday (Halloween) So I really want to get this bedroom looking amazing for then. I have worked and put away 10 of the 13 big bags but because I have been living in a bin bag room for 4 weeks it is a pig sty mess in general now too. The new bin os obviously the floor.. sigh.
