afternoon everyone,
hope you feeling better today maria. I had my big xmas panic session last week, just the same as you thats when i came on here and found you lovely ladies(sorry if any of you are men). I think autumn has a way of creeping up on you then someone hits the fast forward button to December!!!!!!
Well today i have been alone (everyone out) so thought i should make use of the time. got all my hamper stuff together and put all the bits in i have so far, now i know what i still need. Also just made 3 flannel cupcakes and cellophaned them and made my first flannel reindeer, hes lovely . even my grown up son thought the looked cute. Giving one each to my 3 nephews on xmas eve. Also just started on my bedroom , needs a huge going over session but had an hour and decided to look on here instead, lol dont think much more will be done today!
going to write my food list tonight i think, doing little bits as and when i can.

I have never made one before (Tardis cuddle cushion) and I haven't started one yet. All I was thinking of doing was using a dark blue fleece and cutting and sewing it to fit round a bed pillow, then sewing the detail on ie the windows etc and a little flashing light at the top.
Not sure if it will come out as I see it my head though as I haven't got a pattern, when i get round to making on will see how easy it is and let you know.
I can give you the link to the Adipose pattern if you want? they were a bit fiddley but look great when finished

Hi Sarah! Thanks loads!!!! Am dying to know how your tardis's come out - hey is that plural for tardis - maybe its tardi!
Pink Lady - My middle daughter is soooo up for all of this, she is a born organiser and loves the idea of us planning and doing things together, my youngest wants to do the nice things but doesn't want to do the house chores lol!, my eldest is reluctant but as it is her that I'm trying to bond with again I'm going to make her and we have been laughing about it! She says I am sad lol!
To all - this afternoon my middle daughter and I have printed out lots of the printouts and filed them in each of our four binders we have bought! We have checklisted all of the organising jobs to get our house just so for Christmas and delegated them out. Will work on the rest tomorrow - so it's all set up and in place to get started properly!
Am loving this thread and have also invited my friend Rachel across who has been reading and is addicted also!

Haven't done much today, full of the flu
However my cupcake cases came and I made one and cello'd it up with the sequence strawberry on top from ebay, quite impressed with the results.
On the downside, I have spent all lot of the day window shopping online, for what I wish I could afford to get everyone :rotfl:0 -
hi jamtart- i am the most unorganised person you could imagine but last xmas was the final straw for me. Food and gift shopping xmas eve, worked all hours in december, writing and delivering cards at 10pm!!! then spending most of the night gift wrapping. Spent xmas day totally tired out and real stressed up, not doing that again. thats why iam on here in the vague hope that slowly but surely i will get it all organised and finished by mid december. then i can sit back relax and enjoy.....LADIES PLEASE KEEP NAGGING ME TO MAKE SURE IM DOING IT... if not kick my virtual butt!!!sealed pot member no :081

Thanks, That was a quick rough try, Over all Cost approx £1 (Folders 37p Sainsbury's Basics, Corugated (sp?) Card £1 for 10 sheets in the £1 shop, 5 sheets of glitter stickers £3 Baker Ross). Needs to have all the sheets added inside, but thought I would have a play around.
Thanks Everyone, Glad you like it.
