Basically, he is a lonely millionaire who asks a family to 'adopt' him for one christmas in exchange for money. The lady pretending to be his mom (Catherine O'Hara, Kevins mom in Home Alone and ALSO Sally in The Nightmare Before Christmas) is making him a hot chocolate and he says "no sorry.. my mom used to put marshmallows on mine" so she goes and puts big ones on and he says "Sorry.. my mom used to use mini ones" by this point she has had enough so she flicks all the marshmallows out and starts hacking them up with a cleaver to make them mini..
Can I just say.. I started this thread doing "organizedchristmas" and you all joined in hope to be organised and enlightened (or something) and I feel like I have let you down!
My Organizedchristmas.com plan has turned into 'Mel's do whatever she wants to love life and love christmas WOOO Its christmas' Plan and you lot shouldn't have to suffer as a consequence. If anyone wants to be Uber organised and overthrow me as errr Mrs. Christmas... Feel free x
Not al all please dont feel like that. I have been following this thread and would like you to know this is the first time in 46 years of doing my own Christmas that I am actually finished today. With this thread and others it is my cheapest and less stressfree ever. I now have the whole of December left to actually look forward to and enoy. I was always one to be running around and tearing my hair out on Christmas eve.
And a final bonus looking at what I squirelled away i have a significant start on next years presents as well.
Merry Christmas, hugs and a great big thank you for starting this thread.Sealed pot challenge 5430 -

Jammy, are you a closet tart-wannabe which is why you hoarded your friends name to use and hide behind one day on the internet? I can imagine that being you. JUST MESSING!! The christmas book that I did last year was made by binding together all cardstock. Can you make a book? Have you got a really nice festive tin.. You could make a page every day and then put it in the tin
I think the very fact that you found your album means that you need to take part in the challenge every day!! It was fate!!
mgardner You should be so proud of yourself for finishing this early. Thank you so much for your kind words. I know it sounds really cheesy but it is seriously people like you that make me want christmas so much, you make me feel very festive. You should come join us more often.. I know we sound a bit insane but I welcome the ideas from anyone who is already finished!
Thanks for the usual info Mary43 you're a gem. Did you get that hamper to look any good yet? Any chance you could post up a pic so I could take a look at it and see if it is really as bad as you say LOL Perhaps we might just see something you don't because you have been staring at it so long.
WOW misty that is seriously some nice surprise before christmas! I would have been happy just getting a holiday! I bet you feel the pressure now of matching your partners gesture for christmas LOL Congratulations and it is so wonderful to have you back x
I have got 4 copies of unopened Trivial pursuit DVD Star Wars and Lord of the rings here if anyone wants to buy them.. they're not german and for some reason both my parents bought it me for christmas last year even though I have the boxed game of both?!! LOL
chocolate orange, scrapbooking is supposed to be stress relieving and fun so if you really fancy it why not pick yourself up a little kit and enjoy it on the night when you get a little quiet timeAs for that apron.. it is BEAUTIFUL! I would love something like that. I think I may even make one myself!!
