Aww Jammy you are so nice thanks so much x
You can buy the magazine from all do craft stockists and I saw it at Hobbycraft the other day. I was showing my dad with pride because I was in the mag:D:D:D
In the magazine it says the challenges.
Challenge 1
Create two layouts and two cards using chocolatey layers and lots of techniques. The layouts must be single photo.
Challenge 2 (next months)
Create two layouts and two cards using creative journalling and the rule of odds. Your layouts must be multi photo.
Every month I get a box of things to do the challenge with and I can use my own tools but I can only use 2 things maximum that aren't in the parcel. So far I have had some nice things but I have been told this is just to break me in and they are going to get harder and harder.
I am not looking forward to the next challenge.. to create two layouts and two cards out of just cardstock!!!:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
Aggghhhrrrr i have sooooo much stuff to do this weekend  And how did december come around SO quickly!?!?!
This is a list of stuff i have to do both this weekend, and in the run up to christmas (advent ones obviously have to be done this weekend!)
1. [strike]wrap advent sweeties for nan and uncle, and add the advent poem & some gold foil, put in a jiffy and post first class today[/strike]
2. Laminate personalised xmas stories, certificates etc etc for kids/nans/grandads - HALF DONE
3. wrap and basket-up dd's, ds's, dad's and OH's advent baskets  feel like crying now :rotfl:
4. find out more about the elf-tradition so i can start it for the kids sometime this week (read up breifly about it last night at 1am, but was too tired to take it in, so gotta do some reading and FAST!!!)
5. write christmas cards for friends and family - have too many to do, and not sure how i'm going to do it all
6. get some more presents for - ds, a couple for dd, a couple of small token pressies for uncle's hamper, couple more token pressies for dad's hamper, present for 4 x BIL's (not all mine - some OH's! lol), present for nephew
7. buy some more choclate coins for 'pots of gold' (i ate the last lot:rotfl: )
8. make pots of gold
9. make reindeer food
10. finish snowman soups (done a few already)
11. order cello wrap & more cones
12. make up everyone's xmas eve hampers (doing mum & dad, uncle, nan, ds, dd, and a surprise one for me & OH that he doesn't know about)
13. make up everyone's hampers for xmas day
14. wrap all other presents
15. put up ceiling decorations
16. take down tree decorations and re-decorate tree (doesn't look right at the mo :rotfl: )
17. clean the house from top to bottom as it's in a right state at the mo, due to all the 'stuff' going on
18. make the 'balls of life' for mum & dad, uncle, best friend, nan, & OH
19. make up, and decorate - nan's memories jar, dd's journal jar, OH's tottenham facts jar, mum's 'special things & memories' jar, dad's 'bob marley & reggae facts' jar, uncle's 'back in the day' jar, BIL's '50 things a father-to-be should know' funny jar (him and my sister are due their first baby on may 1st)
20. think of more special things to do for people that don't cost a lot of money :rotfl:0 -

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: i know i should really cross off number 20, but i think i'll wait and see how things go over the next couple of weeks. if it's all getting too much then i'll cross it off.
that's if i'm still alive and kicking by then of course :rotfl:
ooooh, and the 'balls of life' - i found it on here. unfortunately i can't claim the idea as my own - i shamefully pinched it off herejust thought it would be an extra something to put in people's hampers. they sound fab. here's the thread -
