Aw dont laugh lol I told the guttering man to f off in October and refused to pay him for a month.
But my new pillows are really nice.
Im so not taking the stuff back they can come and collect it - I cant stand going into there might be the lingering smell of old people or summat but just cant spend more than 5mins in there :(

    But on the positive side
    - Ive not puked today
    - Im getting my Christmas Tree on Sunday (should probably check that the Forestry Commission is open on Sunday huh)
Ive got a couple of little gifts for people from M&S today - a jigsaw and a book for each of my godtwinnies :)
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

yep, we trudged to ikea last weekend but went with a different company (recommended by our builder grrrrrr) only to get a ridiculous quote back so we're visiting magnet and ikea tomo (again) booooooooooooooo.

Just ordered the boys letters from santa - they were £5 but look really good and are personalised with wax seals etc. i know i could have got free ones but wanted something really special. I really wanted to get them the nspcc ones and give the £5 donation to them but they're not personalised (apart from the name) which is a real shame as would have rather the money went to them then else where.
gonna get the boys early to bed tonight and start some wrapping - wooohoooo:)

Well I've just spent the day in the office and have SOOOOOOOOOO much work today, a deadline for Monday *sob* and one for next Friday *sobber* so few Christmas fun things will be getting done this weekend :( If i manage to fit my Saturday night chinese it it'll be a miracle.

On the other hand, no news on the house..it will be out of the public notices of the paper by 11th December so its just a hideous waiting game until then!! But at least they took our offer (up to now!)

Boo! I want to see all your christmas fun to keep me entertained whilst I work all weekend!!

pinkladymel - hope Logan gets well soon :(
Phunkles - boo m&s online, I have heard bad reports about them too

  • Oh and welcome Dizzy Lizzie:D:D so glad you finally came out of hiding haha!

    I was shy, I was...:D Only kidding.
Well the bookcase is half done, it's where to put everything else that's the problem. I mean where do I put our books, unless I buy a bookcase!! :rotfl:
There's dvds in there as well. Have sorted out a lot for the charity shop and some videos for ebay, have had a look and some have sold, only a couple of pounds but it adds up. I don't want to put the books in a cupboard as I think they need air to circulate around them or they smell musty so will have to get thinking. Not a strong point for me!

Pinkladymel - Thank you so much for your kind words, have to confess had a couple of tears, you and all the others have been so great thank you.

On positive note celebrated last ngt, had large glass Butterscotch Brandy Liquer, its lush, and a bar of the chocolate the dog never got his gob round.

Been very organised 2day, did my audit for Boots, and done the report, finished wrapping the main xmas prezzies for all and sundry, just got few little bits to do, 4 lots of Avon stuff to tart up with a bit of wrapping.

DD gone to Ballet, so poor Dad has to do the ballet run on a friday, tomorrow, sort out the dining room and get the spare prezzies sorted.

Sunday - hopefully if the weather holds taking dd to Victorian fair and market at Blists Hill museum, years since Ive been, so hope its dry.

xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

OoOOo Mum2one Blists Hill museum is right next to where I used to live since I was a child :) My parents still live there now! Have a nice time there you deserve it. As for the chocolate.. I would have ate them half a bars regardless of dog slobber or not HEHE
