    Hi,

The Panasonic BMs have special programs for Gluten Free bread.

Amazon prices are good and you can get them from Costco too for a similar price.

I have one for normal bread, and it really is excellent - no failures yet.

    Regards,

    Tim S.

My mum is coeliac and she used a breadmaker and the special gluten free flour. Unfortunately for her, as there is still a tiny amount of gluten in it, over a period of time the build up still made her ill. She did buy recently some beautiful rolls (I think it was in either Asda or Morrisons) and was able to have her first bacon roll in years. She was delighted!

    Hi Rachel
My son has been a coeliac since he was 3 years (hes 16 now). I think its prob better when they are young as they get used to the diet easier as they dont know any different.

They are several types of bread you can get on prescription including fresh bread.

I find Sainsburys good ready food i.e pizzas, frozen yorkshire puds, chicken nuggets as well as other things. ( i am at work at the moment )

IF you need any help or just to talk about it please email me and i will try to help.

I have gained 2 tins of stuff to make marmalade. One tin of lemon and 1 tin of orange. Its the stuff you just add tons of sugar and water to and cook.

Now i am not a marmalade fan and gained them when i emptied my grandparents pantry after they were forced to move to a home.

Im after ways to make my efforts slightly more interesting.

Ive done a forum search and found a suggestion of whisky in with the orange, but apart from that i cant find anything. Do any regular OS jam makers have any bright ideas! :D

im not a jam maker ( yet!) but Im not a huge marmalade fan either.

Although there are loads of muffins and cake recipes to be made with marmalade, so maybe thats the answer, orange marmalade muffins? Or a lemon maramlade sponge cake?

Do a google Ive seen loads like this about!

You could add ginger to the orange one.

I'll have a think about the lemon one.

This is really only half a suggestion as i have so many questions about it but....

What about making marmalade with some different spirits in it and giving it to them as part of a Christmas hamper? I have a tin of the orange stuff and am thinking of making it for my Dad as he loves jams and marmalade. It tells me it will make six X 1lb jars, so i thought:
    1)Whiskey
    2)Sherry
    3)Brandy
    4)Cider
    5)???
    6)???

The thing is i have never made it before, and dont know if the alcohol content will affect the setting of the marmalade?? And in my mind it will taste rank so i have no idea if they would be nice for someone who likes marmalade??

I have done a search but didnt come up with anything....:o
