    So glad I've found this thread. I haven't got my wine code as yet. I sent them a secure message at the begining of March and explained this, and got a polite, apologetic reply saying they would email me the code. Nearly 2 weeks later and I still do not have it.

    It's good to know I'm not the only one waiting. I think it's a pretty poor stae of affairs though when so many people have to ask for it.

    They seem to be coming through now. If you don't have yours next week then phone them and complain. You should get it eventually.

    She got her reply (I thought there'd email to say a message was waiting but they didn't). They said she'd get her wine but 8 weeks after opening account (via my recommendation) not the 4 I thought. So we have 4 weeks more to go.

    We did get our first case today though!

    DH just phoned smile and they said it'll be with us within 2 weeks...

    We didn't get the advertised wines though! They'd run out. We got "ones of equal or greater quality"...

    At virgin wines mine is still saying "Order being assembled" since saturday. How long does it take to put wine in a box?

    I'd it could come today. My said "Order being assembled" on Friday but arrived Monday. They left it with the neighbour (which was fine) although I didn't specify that... If I was actually paying for this I think I'd be unhappy with Virgin's service.

    I told them to leave it on the door step if no one is in as they send out another case free if it gets pinched.

    I sent a secure message to Smile to close my account one week ago. I told them the sort code and account number to transfer my money to. I then received a reply asking me to let them know my sort code and account number as they said it would be quicker than sending a cheque!!! They also wanted to know why I was closing the account. I replied straight away, that was on the 14th and they still haven't closed my account.

    Talk about inefficient :mad:

    I applied for this account and met the criteria for the free wine back in January.

    I have been chasing my wine ever since, and have been told on a number of occasions that I will receive a voucher code by the end of the week (but nothing ever arrives).

    On my last attempt, I was told that the marketing department has been made aware that I qualify for the wine, and that if I do not receive a code by the end of March, my account will be credited with £50 instead.

    This is fine by me (if it actually happens!) - 11 days to go! :rolleyes:
