I sent them a secure message earlier this month and I got a reply saying I would have it by the 28th.

There are others on here still waiting so I don't think it's jsut me.

My girlfriend applied for a smile account a week earlier than me and she got her voucher on 21st dec. I think there is some sort of cut-off point where people who aplied after a certain date don't get the voucher till the 28th.

Mmmm, suppose you better had leave it til at least 28th before you chase it up.

My dh messaged them when he first applied for the account and they also told him it would be emailed before 28/2/06 but in fact it turned up just a few days later.

I still think that they've made some sort of admin c0ck up though.

Me too. I actually got a secure message from them saying I would receive my voucher "before" the 28th Feb so technically they have 14 hours.

My girlfriend opened a Smile account a week before me and received the voucher on 21st Dec and has her wine already!

Chased them up today, apparently they will be issued tomorrow.

Thanks. I've got the T&Cs of the offer if anyone has any problems:

"Wine qualification upon first credit transaction of £1500 minimum by 10th February 2006. smile wine promotion ends 10th December 2005. All current account applications must be applied for by 10th December 2005. Wine redemption code will be dispatched by no later than 28th February 2006. A delivery charge of £4.99 is payable upon order of wine. This offer is only available to customer who are residents in the UK. This offer is not open to previous or existing customers of smile. This offer excludes CIS and Co-operative Bank staff. smile has the right to withdraw the offer at any time."

Note the first line which states that you will qualify for the wine on the first depost of £1500+ and does not state you need to meet the terms of the account by making regular monthly deposits to the account.
