Billymeaures, ignore them.
You have nothing, they dont want you ( according to you ) they want someone else.
Let them spend their money finding out they are wrong.
Dont waste your time or money on them.:D stay wonky

Update :
Posted my 12+2 days letter to 1st Credit today (hopefully they should get it tomorrow). I have heard nothing from them since the CCA request (on 3rd Feb) - I would have thought at least they would have sent me a valentine card!0 -
For those who have put it CCA requests which are now outside the 30 day period - are you still receiving communications from them of any kind??
I haven't heard a peep for a while and i think it worries me more than the constant letters, lol.0 -

I know that feeling. 1st Cruds havent written anything since CCA request. I suppose no news is good news and all that but sending nothing!! Maybe they cant afford the postage since they sent me so many letters before!
At least Lowell-life wrote and told me they could not find a CCA.0 -
What next?
I originally requested a copy of the CCA from Ist Credit 1n September 2008, which has still not appeared. On 20th November I sent them the Default letter (failure to produce agreement), stating the the debt is unenforceable, they should delete my details etc. They replied on 15th Dec saying they are "fully aware that we cannot enforce a debt whilst there is a CCA request in place" and the a hold has been placed on my account. Now I have received a letter from CCS Solicitors demanding full payment in 7 days. Obviously same address as 1st Credit. Does this count a passing my details on to a third party? What should I do now? Jul 2008 debt £36,600 (not including mortgage )0 -

E-mail them informing them that they have 7 days to withdraw this threat otherwise you will Complain to the Financial Services Ombudsman, reminding them of the position. Your letter from LCS probably says that they will not enter into any correspondence, so dont!
E-mail is best, its quick and you will get the auto-response from 1st Cr in your inbox as proof of receipt.:D stay wonky

Report the beggars to the OFT and Trading Standards. Did you cite the Data Protection Act when you wrote to them? If so add the Information Commisioner to your list of contacts. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

Thanks Pepe and RAS, sorry I meant LCS!! Yes I did quote the Data Protection Act saying they could not pass on my details. Should I just ignore LCS - they are not threatening me themselves, just saying 1st Credit may commence court proceedings. Is this another scare tactic? I will certainly said 1st Crud an email. Do I tell them I am reporting them? Jul 2008 debt £36,600 (not including mortgage )0

I would Debtlady, your letter should be a polite **** off! Bodies like the FOS like to know that a fair chance has been given to correct a situation before reporting to them.
Have you been given a copy of 1st Cretins Complaints Procedure and an explanatory leaflet of the FOSs services?:D stay wonky
