As soon as you make a Complaint ( in this case the Default Notice ) they are supposed to send you a letter setting out how the C will be dealt with, by whom and to what timetable, along with the explanatory leaflet about the FOS and its procedures. Its a Legal Requirement.:D stay wonky

got a reply from 1st credit as regards my request for CCA and statement of account. they said they would ask their "clients" to send me the CCA and if i wanted statments it would cost me a tenner! they also said they were not required to send me a copy of the Deed of assignment quoting the 1925 property act.
answered by asking if they bought the loan how come they did not get the requsite documentation? also said i requested a copy of CCA and stament of account not copy of deed and statments.
told them they were correct about the 1925 act not requiring me to get a copy of deed (not that i asked for one), but pointed out that it required a letter from citi to my wife stating they had sold the loan to 1st credit, not the "forged" letter from citi sent by 1st credit.
as they have changed the account number and the balance, I have not had any notification from citi, they have not complied with the 1974 act and then gone on to quote a 1925 act, which they have failed to comply with. not sure where i stand. will send the reply via snail mail and e-mail.0 -
