Sky subscription "credit crunch" offer

I have got Sky installing my dish & eq. on Monday using the offer code that has been posted on Hotukdeals. No problems with getting the offer, just said a mate gave me the code (well they didi sort of seeing as we're all mates on these sites, aren't we...??? ). Anyways, all costing me absolutely nothing for a year :j . Getting 6 mixes, declined the movies and sports for £23.30 (good price per month but still trying to save cash not spend it!!), sky+ box and equipement with nothing to pay for 12 months. This can be cancelled at anytime and there will be no penalties but can't add to my package or my free subscription will be lost and I'd revert to the standard rate etc.

Am really pleased as this will be fab for making sure that we don't miss anything over Christmas. We had to cut this last year before we moved house and I have missed a fair few of the channels so can't wait till Monday when they are comming to fit it all. :T

I know of 2 other people who have also got this deal using the code and they are having theirs fitted next week also. :beer:

Is this offer still available? I've just tried to change to this one because its better than the one I got (yesterday!) and they said that the code couldn't be validated...Is it still working for other people?

Someone posted at 12:10pm today on HUKD that they placed order using code and it was processed fine. Perhaps they won't let you change because you've already signed up using another offer?? just a guess, might be wrong

I couldn't believe it, I was so chuffed!!!! Free Sky +, free installation, free Sky for a year - NOTHING AT ALL TO PAY!

Just said I'd been given the code by a friend who works for Sky.

I phoned back and it worked...think I'd just got through to the wrong department. Excellent deal & there's still the option of free broadband! Thanks guys, especially movingon!!

I read somewhere that they don't go by name but buy home address so not sure if it would work? Someone esle may be along soon with a more informed opinion....

Phoned to say was reluctantly cancelling tv as wanted to change broadband supplier and virgin looked best bet - offered me sky broadband (mid) and waived the £75 activation fee.

Thankyou - having rang customer services last week to be told no current customer can get a deal on a sky+ box rang cancellation department today and have my new £49 + box with free install and 1/2 multiroom for 6 moths being installed next wednesday morning.

I am so happy have been hankering after a +box but refused to pay price plus installation!!!

You cannot change your package otherwise your price will revert to standard. If you had got the 6 mixes it still would have been free. The only channels you can't have for free are the movies and sports. You could try calling back before you get it installed and see if they will change it for you?
