Exactly EL!! We only put our boxes out the night before and they are the cleanest in our street :D . I hate it when they accidentally give the wrong boxes back as everyone else leaves theirs out, to get covered in dirt, cobwebs and those things with too many legs... I always to round and get ours back (they clearly have our number on all sides). Once we got one from our neighbours and it smelt like a pubs empties bin

I'm coming across as a bit an@l about it :rotfl: but I'm not, honest.

• Ha, beaten to it! I was just about to post that the Portland Road veg man is back:D .
Yesterday bought huge bowl of toms for £1 and 2 large aubergines for £1. Didn't have cash for more as was passing and saw he had reopened and just grabbed what I could.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
• Ah, you see, I had the scoop as I get off at that bus stop!

Have bought nothing yet but noticed you get less peppers for your quid now, only two of 'em... quite a good deal on grapefruits though x

• I do... when it's sunny and I feel the UK is tropical-like... which, I admit is rare...

Was in Aldi in Portslade yesterday and there was a poster up saying the London Rd shop was opening in March - think it was the 9th. Should have paid more attention, sorry.

I'm not sure when Aldi is opening, but looks like the place is coming along nicely, personally I've never shopped in there before, so when it opens I'd be interested to see the price comparisons. We ususally shop at Asda since it's only a 5 minute walk from where we live, I'd be interested to know in the price differences between Aldi and Asda.

lol thanks EL, I knew I wasn't paying proper attention. Had I known about this thread before I would have made sure I got the date right.
