My sister rang me with the code for the Argus bus ticket.

It's ARGUS7 and this is the site

I asked for 2 and it gave the discount on both = 2 tickets for £14 :T

Apparently you have until 12pm Friday to use the code.

Thanks so much purplevamp - we forgot to get the Argus yesterday! Your code comes in very handy as MrEL wanted to get a ticket (I already have a bus pass).

Hello everyone!

I've just found out about this thread about our expensive city.
Specially nice to see there is somewhere where I can buy rabbit meat in town! I really thought that if I wanted to eat rabbit in this country I would have to hunt it myself! :rotfl:

Welcome cipolllon! Yes we generally chat about savings and any other news...

M&S will be doign their 20% off tomorrow of course, plus Burtons and Debenhams are doing 20% off too from today onwards until Friday I think.

Any ideas where I can get a 3 ft Xmas tree cheap? I looked in Woolworths and nearly fell about laughing at the state of their 3 ft trees...

Also any news re the ALDI opening on Lewes road?

Would love to know if the butchers at the opening of the open market is cheaper than Somerfield's Mince offer (£1.75 for 400g).

And what is happening to the open market overall?

That's such a shame... oh well I suppose at least the news above is good. Depending on how long that takes of course...!

Sorry Billy - I have done a search as you suggest, and given that most offers end in March 09, I'd only buy it at a maximum of £9.99 - this was the price being charged for it back in September.
