purplevamp wrote: »Reporting back on the 99p olive oil. Let's just say you pay for what you get, it's ok, but is definintely not a high quality olive oil, it's more like any old oil. It didn't stop the food sticking to the pan like normal olive oil does. Glad I only got the one
Sorry to hear that purplevamp - I was all ready to pounce on a few bottles as soon as you gave the green lightHey ho - I will still be asking MIL to bring back some from France then - 2 Euros for a litre :T

Hi, I probably made that sound more exciting than it is - there is sometimes a newspaper-promoted preview at the DOY at 11:00 on a Sunday morning - last year they seemed to be doing it most weeks but it's less frequent now.
There is sometimes an ad in the Saturday Guardian's Guide - "take this page and 2 people get in tomorrow". More recently there have been a couple in the Sunday Times, and the codes for these are printed on the Free cinema Tickets thread. In this case you don't need to buy the ST, as someone will provide the code and you can book and print off the email.
We went to see Waltz With Bashir on Sun, the last one before that I think was Burn After Reading (v good!).0 -

Tim - for those who don't carry tap water with them, and get caught out in town, might prefer to buy an ethical choice 500ml bottle at Infinity for @£0.39p ish rather than Evian/Volvic/replace-with-any-other-unecessarily-imported-and-extortionately-priced-water-here... thus buying water but also donating to charity at no extra effort
Juli - great will keep my eyes peeled... Saw 'What Just Happened' free @ Odeon on Tues - quite funny and worth going!MFW #185
