i got-
lucozade 500ml 2/£1
tinned peas 2/£1
soups 3/£1
300g tinned peas are 25p in asda. & 400g tinned tomato soup is 17p (their smartprice range). But of course, shopping all over the place can sometimes use too much time/energy.
Tim, that pheasant recipe looks fantastic. I can see I'll have to beetle along and get one of them too. My mum has now commisioned me to get a couple of rabbits as she can't find any where she lives, and she was brought up on rabbit pie.
The pier shop (In North Street) have cut the price of their huge 3 wick candles from £8 to £4.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
have to say i bought the pomace olie oil from 99p store, and finding its fine for most uses, bit cloudy and greasier than proper olive oil but great for cooking!!Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £81,810.42 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £180 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £175.04 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £1,406.55 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0

Hi all,
Great sales savings this weekend - 20% off at BHS again so I bought a few bits there including some boots I had my eye on. Also found some salad acacia servers reduced to £2 which we had wanted. Downstairs they have a lovely warm fleecy blanket reduced from £20 to £12 - was very tempted! However we already have one reeeeally, so avoided temptation...
Plus at Amazon savings on Xmas pressies I wanted to get anyway, and MrEL found a USB Hub (4 ports) and USB extension cable @ the £0.99 store on North Street, not bad for £1.98.
Had no time for open market nor will I this coming weekend, but after that hope to go and stock up on some eggs and check out any seafood. Saw a programme by Rick Stein where he cooked mussels in 3 minutes flat and I love mussels, so if theyr'e in season we will treat ourselves.
Crispeater thanks for the tip re bus - shame I buy mine yearly! I know it's £430 now so will start saving for April... then use my Egg cashback card for £4.30 offBetter than nothing
Brightonman - wish I could get home stuffbut we're waiting for Spring as thinking of buying then :T
Afterglow - I guess it's ok for some stuff though so not bad at £0.99 I guess. I will keep asking MIL to get ours from France for now, very cheap too and good quality :beer:MFW #185

There's 30% off at GAP for anyone who is a Pigsback member - just log in to PB and search for GAP, then print. I went in there Saturday and it applies to all goods. Then as I bought nothing @ GAP, I went to BHS and got a) cheaper and b) another 20% off there :rotfl:MFW #185
