Thanks EL.
Just picked up a rabbit for £3.50 from the butchers outside the open market thanks to tim's pointer. He's got lots of interesting stuff there.
And go eggs at 95p for 6. So thanks everyone. Just got to get some cider for the rabboit casserole now:DI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Went to the Sunday market today, it's certainly not what it was but was good. The vegetable stall was brilliant, boxes of mangoes for £4, boxes of 9 pineapples for £2, and so on.0

Great stuff Tim - yes I like the veg stall, mostly the only thing I go up there for! I was going to go but had too much of a hangover to crawl out of bed yesterday...
BHS had a great 20% sale on yesterday - and that included items that were already reduced. I got a handwash pump for £2.60 that had been £8, and a soup ladle for £2.00 that had been £4.
Anyone know if the sale will be on this week still?MFW #185

I avoid the shops as much as possible (less tempting to spend) so am not much use with spotting bargains generally.
Had the rabbit in cider for dinner last night - excellent.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Hi purplevamp - great stuff! Let me know what the olive oil is like, as it seemed to be different to normal oil (ie: made from olive derivatives maybe?) so I did not grab any. If it's nice I will get some as well as it's a great price!MFW #185

Not to sound totally stupid....
But do they skin the Rabbit and everything for you?
It's just I was walking past today and peered in and just thought they looked a bit too 'Rabbity' (as in furry and cute) for me to cope with...
Oh and I got some eggs today. Hooray! :T0
