Can you guys keep an eye out if you are in a Woolworths.
I want a Woolworths -Month to View calendar (says this on front)
I usually buy one of these every year to keep notes on, it's the right size (6.5"x12"), plain type calendar, no silly pictures or themes, costs about £1.50.
But of course Woolies is shutting down. I have checked London & Western Road branches & shelves were pretty empty days after sale started.
What other branches are there in Brighton area, Blatchington Road I know of ?0 -

Might have a look, but don't hold much hope.Blatchington road and then further along at Boundary Road (near Portslade station)
I think that's it, as far as I know.
When I went into London Road branch day after start of sale, shelves were pretty empty, don't think customers bought it all, so think company/administrators must have removed stock for other reasons.0 -

EagerLerner - Thanks for that. I've emailed my Sister as she gets these. The Daily saver ticket (unlimited travel) is around £3.80, so this deal is worth it for anyone that gets the bus more than twice a week I guess... I'm glad I buy the yearly one at £425ish as that gives me a few months free...
I suspect Churchill Square are subsidising this anyway with B&H Bus Co, to get shoppers into the shopping centre in a dreary and credit crunched January...MFW #185

I guess if you work it out then it would be around that much, I wouldn't dare buy a yearly ticket - I'm too ditzy and would lose it :rotfl:EagerLearner wrote: »The Daily saver ticket (unlimited travel) is around £3.80, so this deal is worth it for anyone that gets the bus more than twice a week I guess...
