Good Morning All
Pixie & Anniebl - hope you both feel better soon, (((hugs))) and for anyone else who needs one.
I will have a peaceful house today :j :j DS is back at school though I dont doubt I will have a nightmare with him till he's actually in the classroom.
After the school run I will quickly do some online banking then its housework. Going to concentrate on the bathroom and shower room and given them a good clean. Dont think its meant to rain today so will get the washing done too.
Menuplan has been jigged around and its spag bol for dinner.
Other OS things apart from copius amounts of vinegar and stardrops for the bathrooms, is make some bread for kids packed lunch and might look at making some french bread (only have made standard loaf in BM).
So feeling positive and raring to go - long may it last!

Hi everyone, looking bright today in MK, hope it will turn out nice. Feeling decidedly unmotivated about work today, its my late night and the day just seems to drag. Havent a clue what we will have for dinner tonight, something quick, as I wont get in till about 7.30pm. Duddles to everyone who needs them x0

Morning all
I have just waved my littlest baby girl off to secondary school for her first day. I did manage not to cry when she went but have had a private sob. It will take her an hour on the bus to get to school but her big sis goes most of the way with her. Her birth was quite traumatic and she's had more than her fair share of health struggles but off she goes looking very smart and grown up. I need to sort out the bathroom arrangements though - we all in theory will be leaving at the same time and I'm late having come last in the rugby scrum. Good luck to all the back to schoolers today - kids and teachers.I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -

Morning all. I don't often post on here but try to read through when I can. I just wanted to pop in and say hello as I feel so positive at the moment.
I have spent the summer holidays organizing, preparing for winter, dcluttering, flyladying and I have well and truly sorted my tiny kitchen to make OS cooking easier. Its fab!
DD started junior school yesterday and loved it. DS has just moved to year six after 2 horrible years for him with a teacher he didn't get on with and he came home grining and saying that he was sooo happy. phew!
And to top it all, DH is all better after having been bitten and getting a nasty infection in his lymph glands.
Life seems very good at the moment.
Sorry for the essay but just wanted to tell someone :j
Today, I will do the washing, clean the bathroom, take the car for MOT  , make cottage pie for tea (kids request)
Have a good day everyone xxx:)Do more of what makes you happy:)0 -
:hello: Good morning!
It is definately getting chilly here, I guess summer is over as the runner beans are beginning to fade and go to seed! Although sad that autumn is approaching I am busy in the kitchen (like many others) getting preserves made and veg into the freezer, apple and marrow chutney today! Yesterdays plum chutney is lovely like mango chutney:D, I need to get me some more free plums
Well having paid a large sum of money off the mortgage my teeth are now playing up, typical! hoping it will settle down as I don't want to have a hefty dental bill.
(((hugs))) to Pixie, Annie, Penny pincher, smoky, jayward, Stefejb, mrs mix and anyone else who could use one.
Have a lovely day and good luck to those returning to school, I should have started back tomorrow, it will seem strange for a while so just as well I have a lot to do in the garden.
Catz xOur days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Morning everyone

I am feeling a bit low today, had an interview yesterday that was very probing/difficult and I felt out of my depth, obviously don't think I got the job and am just waiting for the call
Today I hope (like everyone else) that the rain stops, so I can actually do some washing rather than just thinking about it
I'm need to do some ironing, post some letters in the village, go to the shops to pick up the photos from the disposable cameras that we had on the table at out wedding (wedding was in May and I only took them in on Monday
) and go to Boots to make the most of the fab vouchers offer they have on at the moment. Oh, we are going out to a friend's house for dinner tonight so no cooking, which is lucky as my menu planning has gone out of the window this week!
Hope everyone has a good day and hugs to anyone that needs one x0 -
Morning
(( Hugs )) to Pixiedust, hope you feel better soon. (( hugs )) also to others who are feeling down today
Work today, so doing chicken chasseur in the slow cooker, home grown potatoes, peas and cabbage in the steamer, and apple and blackcurrant crumble in the remoska. Even the apples and blackcurrants were out of the garden, so a very MS dinner tonight :T
Heard the weather forecast this morning, and they were talking about autumn - what happened to summer
Have a great day everyone xxYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever
