Hi to everyone, I am so sorry I haven't been on here to post for ages!
I am so very busy in my new job and life has just been like a rollercoaster for the last few weeks. I am well though as are my DH and two children, so I can't complain. I have had some very sad news about my DB, the hospital have said that they can't offer him any further treatment. After the three rounds of chemo nothing had changed and so now it is a waiting game!! We have all been in complete shock to be honest he is 41 for goodness sack and apart from the fact that he has no hair now, looks (and feels)the picture of health!!**
So as you can imagine having my DH and children close by and shutting out the cruel world has been my priority recently. To be honest having a new job to focus on although at times has felt hard, has in other ways been a blessing.....
Anyway, I enough of the deep and emotional stuff. I haven't had time to read through the posts properly other than to read that:
SH is still searching for the job, keep going with that and well done on the bonus.
IC, I hope things continue to feel more relaxed and doable for you.
SC, how do you feel about your work situation now?
YB, how are things with you?
I'm about to go off and get an early night, feel really tired at the moment. But I promise I will be back again soon, to read and post more frequently. Especially now that we are in the new 'Debt Free Dairies' thread.
Best wishes and cyber love to you all, thank you for the support, interest and warmth you give through the posts on here.

hi Ruby hope you are ok , seems so long since we heard from you. so sorry to hear about your DB, it must be very difficult.
Sh - I have posted on your diary
YB/ IC hope you are both ok everyone has been so quiet
I think the situation at work has resolved although I havent had any official feed back . It seems the girl who started the trouble has actually been told about her own aggressive behaviour towards us, so we will see. I certainly cant trust her any more especially putting me through all that unecessarily. i shall be watching my back and not be giving her anything other than professional talk , that will be it it. i am very bitter
had a lovely day in the garden - weeding, tidying i have cut the grass too, it looks alot better.
moneywise dont think I am doing too well , I seem to overspend everytime I go shopping and I am being so careful ( trying too anyway) I am going without new clothes and shoes so the girls get what they need but it doesnt seem to make any difference. I need to keep a tighter hold. I am going to join the £10a day challenge . every littlehelps x0 -
HI SC glad it is going better at work.
Hope IC, YB and Ruby are all okay.
I have an interview tomorrow - woo hoo! But there would be 2 more stages after that if I got through it.
also getting a bonus Friday - they told me 1 figure - I said I expected a different higher one - and was told they would give me the higher figure - shows it is worth pushing back sometimes.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I'm off to do some food shopping soon , I had a terrible month food wise in march. I do the grocery challenge and I think i put £400 down, but ended up spending over £500:eek: dont know where it goes, I do try to be careful . going to try harder this month. also I have convinced OH at last that we should cancel the weekly papers, it will save us £20 a month ,not a lot but every little helps.
any way I do hope all my friends are ok .I worry about you you know xx0 -
COOOOEEEY.:D ....RUBY......where are you?0
