Hi Cas, have a good luck through the clubcard website, I have £18 in vouchers but have used £15 of them to get DS and three friends a paintballing afternoon for his birthday, worth £60!! they are worth four times as much if you use them that way. Really worth doing, I'm sure there will be some things your girls would like.
YB, thanks for your kind words about my monthly cycle it is a nightmare and the doctor cannot suggest anything except some herbal remedies, which I have to say I keep forgetting to take.
SH - how did your interview go?
IC - your weekend sounds lovely and I did chuckle when I read the dingle comment.
MissShoes, thanks for popping in, how are you doing on your DFW journey?
All, the scallops were lovely.....
Nice day today with the children, the sun was even shining!!
Hope your relaxing week continues Cas and YB.
Love to all.

Hi all - yesterdays interviews seemed to go really well - possible second stage next week, Monday's interview I couldn't tell at all how I did... Feel a bit more positive now I am at least getting interviews but spending too much currently. Just job hunting this week cost over £50 in train fares, parking etcAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

well done so far, mind you it sounds like an expensive exercise .
still not sure what to do with the tesco vouchers but they have a long shelf life;) so i think I will leave them to build up and maybe we could go to alton towers in the summer- thanks for the advice IC , Ruby
feeling a lot better now thanks for all your good wishes, went to the pics yesterday (orange wednesday so half price) me and OH watched the curious tale of benjamin button and the girls watched confessions of a shopaholic. the girls enjoyed the film and so did we ,its a strange film and lasts 2 and half hours but very watchable.
had a quiet day today no kids to take anywhere and we have just blobbed round the house, doesnt sound very exciting but was just what we all needed, as we are all so busy. i can recommend it
hope your all ok
take care xx0 -

fingers crossed for you
hi all lovely sunny day today just about to put my bedding on the line.
have decided to try and grow some veg this year and so will attempt to sort out some space . I think for now it will have to be in pots until i can sort a suitable plot ( we have heavy clay soil and i think thats probably the worse type of soil to have for growing veg). so i will see how i go in case I am carp at it or dont enjoy it:rotfl:
DD1 has just gone for a run ( i wish i had some of her dedication and energy lol)
MIL coming today, normally i run round frantically making sure the place is clean and tidy, but as I am still recovering i'm just not going to. i shall make sure the kitchen and bathroom are cllean and the carpets hoovered other than that the piles of school books and stuff lying about can stay
hope those who were off had a lovely week xx0 -

It wasn't too bad but I spent a lot of it preparing for my interview Wednesday LOL! Got home and found I've got to the first stage of a local job - decent money - Friday. Written exercise initially which I normally do well on and then potentially a follow up about 10 days later...
It takes some of the pressure off Wednesday so hopefully I will perform better. Wish me luck!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
