thanks Belle I do feel terrible about it , I've never really had so much as a cross word with anyone in 13 years ( well maybe the odd cross word:D ) I think this will just make things worse in the long run, one of the other nurses had had the same letter and she has been in tears all weekend about it. I am so fed up ,at times like this I wish I could be a stay at home mum.

DH is going into hospital tomorow for a throat operation and I gather its quite a nasty op. not sure how long he will be in for. not looking foreward to that either
    what a miserable g*t I am

I hope you are all ok
sorry for the unhappy post :o

I think they did want blood! It was certainly b#@# y difficult as a test! I've found out Thursday has got 3 parts to it as well!!! Sometimes I just want to hibernate:rotfl: like this morning LOL.... Thinking of booking Friday off to recover... Thing is I am still trying to fit in my day job between interviews!!!!

  • Hi everyone,
Cas - I am so sorry to hear about the work situ, what a formal way of dealing with something that could probably be sorted out over a chat and a cuppa!! I will be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way until the 16th. :A How is your DH, did the op go ok, is he recovering?

YB - Hi!! - your comments about being a domestic goddess made me smile? Did you enjoy your time apart from DH, absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that??? Or was it too knackering to notice he had come home??!! :rotfl:

SH - you do sound very positive and upbeat about the job situation, which I am sure will shine through in the 1000's of tests, interviews, panels etc. you are having to go through. Good luck.

IC - good luck with the barnados job, what are you hoping to do from April? Anything that keeps you feeling well sounds better though.

Gotta rush... I will come back soon and update about me..

    Lots of love
    xx

    Hi everybody
thanks for all your concern, I have really good friends on here.
DH had his throat op on tues and now is at home. He is in the most terrible pain and despite all the medication he has been given it is not controlling the pain. I am beside myself watching him suffer. I have spoken to the hospital ( at 3am!) and the chargenurse was very good. I have spoken to his GP who has given him something stronger, but its still not touching him. we are exhausted. they have said it is one of the most painful operations and will improve in about 2 weeks, its only 4 days now

My meeting at work was brought forward to yesterday ( thank goodness as it was doing my head in). basically one of the team feels as if she is doing all the work and feels isolated and not part of the team. its absolute rubbish , we are all working full pelt so much so none of has had any time to so much as lift our heads up to look round. I have the feeling she has been saying negative things about me to the bosses. and of course they are feeling sorry for her and think I am a monster. I said my bit in the meeting told them it wasnt true, but I feel the damage has been done, but we will see. thing is I dont know how I am going to react to her when I see her next as I feel very resentful about what she has put me through, unecessarily and especially as things are tough at home at the moment.
    rant over :o

I hope you are all ok , I will come later and read the thread a bit more carefully
    (((hugs))) to all xx

Ditto from me LOL. Hope things improve for you sistercas.

Hi everyone else - hope you are okay, esp Ruby's brother!

Didn't get the local job - gutted! Still awaiting feedback from the one I went to last Wednesday - should find out tomorrow. Still applying for other roles but it is hard to remain upbeat. 3 weeks and 2 days now til I leave... it would be nice to have a little break but it would be nicer to know in advance that that was all it was - a break and that there was something good coming through.

Bye for now - thanks for caring.:A
