Hi Ruby hope you get time to relax over the next 2 weeks. I am working this week and then off next week (I cant wait)
we are not going away but i am hoping to persuade OH to take us to the sea side for a day, I could do with some sea air ( and fish and chips of course)
YB how are you? long time no see, hope you enjoy your easter hol if you've got one
well I have planted a few veggies in the garden, not sure how they will do as I definitley do not have green fingers but im crossing them anyway. I have enjoyed being out in the fresh air and have rosy cheeks to prove it0 -

:easter_os HI all - hope everyone is okay...
SC you are right I do feel like I am meeting myself coming backwards... Not heard feedback from yesterday yet but have been told that I didn't get the job I went for today tho... It would have been nice to have know I had a job but at the same time I wasn't convinced that particularly one was right for me. I am also still really tired and have barely seen the kids so do need to spend some time with them....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi everyone, I hope you all enjoyed your Easter break. I can't believe the two weeks school leave have gone by so very quickly!!
Cas, thanks for the book tip it sounds fab, I'm going to have a look on ebay for that one.
SH, I hope you have got to have some down time, where you are able to relax and not think about jobs etc.
Hello to Miss Shoes, thanks for popping in.
YB, IC, where are you?
Well the wedding is on Saturday and I don't know what I am wearing, I would love to be able to spend on a new outfit but just cannot afford it. Cas, you asked a number of posts back how we are doing with money, well much of the same really except it feels SO DULL!! and so limiting. I really regret getting such a big mortgage for the house extension, although I love the space.... but the big mortgage and our debt just mean every penny is allocated and we just don't have money for extras. I have managed to work things so that I can spend £50 so a new top or something will do the trick and if I can shop in the right places I might be able to get more!!!
The good thing is some of our debts we are overpaying by a small amount each month, so at least we are seeing some change. That reminds me I must do the snowball thingy I haven't done that for a few months.
How is everyone else getting along on the money slog?
Cas, I love the idea of growing our own veg, but like everything with me I seem never to get around to it. How is yours going?
SH, I promise to look into your diary soon.
Oh well better go and do something!! Seem to be having a very lazy day today and cannot get going...
Best wishes and lots of love to you all.

Hey Ruby, how you doin? I once got a whole outfit (dress, cardi and funky coloured tights) for 12.00- love Primark. Maybe that might be an option for the wedding??
My money slog is exactly that- a moneyslog!!! Everything is so difficult and tight at the minute- making no headway whatsoever and losing hope and drive and determination daily!!

Hello everyone
sorry not to post for so long. Been away for a bit, my mum not good at the moment either. Hope your job seeking is going well SH - I will visit your diary too.
Cas, have spotted you on what small things - see you there soon, I was in your neck of the woods last week!
Ruby I wish your DB all the happiness for a special day on Saturday. I'm sure you will look fantastic whatever you wear.
My news.....well, I have planted some potatoes and dug a patch for carrots & beetroot etc. The house seems to be falling apart everywhere and the 'car season' is almost upon us ... MOT, road tax, insurance. Have saved for the car stuff but if I need to spend any more on house type emergencies it'll all be gone. Just when you think you've got this money stuff under control it goes and throws a curve at you...argghhhh.
Thinking of you all
Belle
xGetting there...slowly!
