Now everyone don't fall over at the fact that I am posting twice in one day!!!

Good to hear from you YB and boy I couldn't agree more about the curve balls...... DS is off to London with friends tomorrow and just the money he needs to have a decent day has taken us by surprise!!

I was hoping to have some xmas money saved by now.... HA HA HA....

Miss Shoes, thanks for the advice about primark, unfortunately I am a size 18 (ha ha, that sounds like it is out of my control and has taken me by surprise when I write it down...teehee) and I find Primark stuff tends to look nice on smaller sizes. Also we don't have one in our city, so I have to drive there. Tomorrow I am going to shop until I get a bargain, I fancy a pair of white linen trousers and a nice floaty top. I do have a dress in the wardrobe that I have only worn once to another wedding, so that is by stand by. Hang on in there on the money front... we are always here for you. How are you finding London?

YB, well done on the veg planting I really must follow in your lead and do something, I love fresh veg. Best wishes to your Mum and you. It is so worrying when family members are unwell. I am thinking of you.

Well ladies I better go and get some sleep so that tomorrow is more productive than the very lazy day I have had today!!

    xxxxxxxx:A

Hi Ruby and belle - good to hear from you again!

Ruby - perhaps try per una in Marks and Sparks for something nice for the wedding - they go up to about a size 20. I find Wallis stuff looks good on me (I am the same size as you) and also Matalan. I have recently discovered Tui in Sainsbury's their stuff fits nicely and is a nice material. Don't worry about cost - worry about fit. Matalan fits me better than Next for example whereas Evans doesn't tailor at all so looks rubbish.

Hope you find something nice and hope you and your brother and his bride to be have a great day at the weekend.

Belle - good luck with your veg patch. Sorry to hear about your mum. Hope things pick up for you soon.

Miss Shoes - hope you manage to stay on track more...

Ruby glad you're ok, I hope DS has a great time in London, not cheap though I agree

I have the same problem with clothes, I hate going shopping because I can never get anything to fit me properly. I have just bought some jeans in Asda though and they seem to do larger sizes now ( thank goodness- yep same size too )

miss Shoes I go in primark a fair bit for the kids, I just wish it would fit me
SH I shall pop over to yours later to see how you are ;)
i had no idea per una does anything more than a size 16. i love their clothes but never found any to fit

Hi YB you are certainly more than welcome on my diary. On top of my own maths struggles I have also been helping my son with his maths sats. He has to write who helped him ( I wonder whether that is so the teacher knows who to blame if the answer is wrong!!!! )
