Well it looks ok as i have still managed to pay off something to the debt this month. Only problem is i have been using the wedding fund to pay some of them. I need to try and find my wedding book so i can see just how much i need to pay back to this. Im not going to treat it as a debt though as if i dont pay it back im going to end up not being able to get what i want for the wedding so i will need to see what i can do to pay that back.
Going to try and find the wedding book to see just how much i have spent out of this.

Hi Buddiebabe - sorry you're feeling poorly - lots of honey and lemon.
You have done well to have paid off more of your debt.
When you look at your wedding book it may not be as bad as you think.
I'm still struggling - had to buy a new iron today - they were half price in Sainsburys so it was £19.99 - but that was still £19.99 I had not budgeted for. DH is having his bike serviced tomorrow and I am dreading the cost - expect it to be around £500 - will have to use OD or add to Egg card for this. I checked my diary and I was panicking about it this time last year - I did start to save each month but borrowed the money for other items. Once I know how much it is I can then re-do my SOA and get cracking again.
Take care

Hey
Well i still haven't sorted out the money cause i can't find the wedding book but to be honest i haven't really looked for it. Im just not feeling up to much at the moment. All i've done in the last few days is lie on the couch and watch tv. Im still not feeling that great and i feel guilty about being off work but also for not doing anything while i've been off.
There is so much that i could have done in the house but just haven't had the strength or energy to do much at all.
Need to stop feeling sorry for myself and get on with things

Buddiebabe - please stop beating yourself up - you are not feeling well. Stop worrying about what you should be doing and concentrate on getting yourself well again. Enjoy the TV. Hope you feel better soon.

Hey
Sorry haven't been around much lately... have been busy working, am now on holiday for a week and its nearly over and not much has been done.
Im updating just now as things aren't that great. The current situation is as follows:
OVERDRAFTS - NIL
LOANS:
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND £6024.96 now £5773.92

Total paid off since 1st January 2010 is £2109.61 :j
So the picture isn't looking that good.... it is still a decrease but not a good enough one!
Ok so here are the problems that have lead me to this situation:
- I have borrowed money out the wedding fund that needs paid back
- in order to repay the wedding fund i have been not paying the money into the house and car account every month
- this means no money to pay the road tax due this month
- having to repay more to the wedding fund is leaving me short for everything.... not just the car and house account.
I am totally stressed out!
So here are the positive things this month:
- I have ordered the bridesmaids dresses
- I have had a cheque for the damp in the bathroom from the insurance company £250
- I am alive
- I am off both works on holiday
Negative things this month:
- bridesmaids dresses are double what i had budgeted for
- bathroom wallpaper is covered in damp.... needs re-done
- started clearing out bedroom and discovered bed and mattress have mould in them
- had to fling out lots of stuff from house due to mould and damp
- had to put road tax and food shopping on credit card
- am on holiday but not getting a rest
So how are things going to get better??? No idea!
I haven't been keeping on top of money related stuff bills, bank account or wedding fund so i need to start from now.... i cannot deal with the added stress or pressure im feeling at the moment. I need to get my finances sorted and quickly or i am going to end up sinking in the mess.
Im going to go see what i have in each account and what it is there for. I need to start a proper book for the wedding and work out just how much i have borrowed and how the hell im going to pay it back.
I hope everyone else is coping better than me. I probably won't get the chance to update again soon (so much cleaning and tidying to do)

Buddiebabe - I am glad you are back and facing up to it. I don't have any magic answer for you - if you take a look at my diary (which I know you do) I am up and down all the time with money. I find if I take my eye off the ball for a month then I'm drowning - I find it depressing having to watch every single penny.
I am trying to stay positive and upbeat about it all. I find looking on this forum and reading how other people are struggling really helps me - because it makes me realise that I'm not on my own.
Have you got any really good friends who could help you clean/clear out your house? Who wouldn't pass judgment? Please don't take this the wrong way but I can see you are struggling with your house as well - keeping it tidy and maybe having a clear out? Can your fiance help you with that? I just wondered if you could get your house cleared then you would feel better and at least one hurdle would be cleared? You can tell me to shut up if you like.
Would it help to post up an SOA? I have never done that - no tell a lie I did pluck up courage and posted it, then immediately deleted it as I felt very ashamed.
Buddiebabe - please take care and do try and enjoy at least one day of your holiday and don't feel guilty please, its OK to do nothing - you work so hard all the time.

Hey Mrs P
Thanks for your honest post. I usually love to keep track of everything but at the moment its the last thing i can think about.
I have so much stuff in this tiny flat that we can't move or breathe properly. I have already filled both my recycling and normal wheelie bin this week and have got rid of 5 bags to the charity shop and a couple of things to my mum.
At the moment the only room that is livable is the bedroom as we have pulled everything out of it and re-arranged it, are cleaning it from top to bottom and have also got some new furniture to replace the things we have just flung out... like the broken chest of drawers that we couldn't use anyway but left lying there cause we couldn't be bothered to move it.
So im hoping that we can at least get the bedroom the way we want it before i go back to work... if i can at least get that room done i think i'll be a bit happier.... only problem is the contents of the bedroom are all over the house making every other room look like its been burgled and they've brought stuff and left it instead of taking it away!
Its always the same you have to make mess first to clear up.... but normally i just give up about an hour after i've started so we do have progress this week im still plodding along with it!
Im going to have a cup of coffee and check my banks today then am getting up at 11am to get started....
I've also got an email from ebay saying that its free listing all weekend so i can relist the 100 things that haven't sold and then try get some of the new stuff i have found listed too... it might free up some space.
Going to get that coffee as time is nearly up now
Am off out for dinner for a friends birthday tonight... another expense i can't afford but its been booked for ages
Buddiebabe xDEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970 -
Well so much for 11am.... am still sitting in bed but i have been a bit more productive! HONEST!!! I have been paid from second job today and have left £135 in bank that i can use... will need to get some food, petrol and dinner tonight so most of it will be gone by the end of the day.
I have paid minimum payment to santander which means all my credit cards have been paid this month.
I have also made payments to each of my cards today to take the balances down to round numbers.... i hate owing pennies so today i have made total payments to all cards of £15.75
I have still to check my paypal and ebay accounts to see what is left in those and pay my fees then take out what i have left in paypal.
Am going to do that then get up and get tidying and cleaning!
Will try and report back later but it may have to wait until 2moro morning
Buddiebabe xDEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970 -
Ebay fees paid and £33 transferred to bank account! Im still waiting on payment for one item so if they pay that will be another £5 to add to the pot!
Need to give mum money for postage so will probably give her £20 from the paypal money so she has some in advance for me selling all the things im going to on this free listing weekend!
Now to get up and get on with things.....DEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970
