    Hi

I haven't updated for a while not really got anything much to report. I have just checked all my bank accounts and paid what i could pay just now.

I still have the following to pay this month:

    Debenhams £75 approx min payment
    Santander £15 approx min payment
    TV Licence £13.00
    Car Account savings £33.20
Money into account to pay direct debits £173.39
    Orange Mobile £15 approx
    Account Interest £6 approx

So that's a grand total of £330.59 i need to find before the end of the month.

I have 2 weeks wages from my 2nd job to get approx £60 a week = £120.00 and i also have 2 weeks money to get from my fiance £75 a week = £150.00 so that totals £270.00 which leaves me £60.59 short.

This isn't good as i still need to buy food and petrol for the next 2 weeks. I have some things listed on ebay but only one thing selling for £4 which includes postage so im not sure where im going to get the money i need.

I do have some savings for xmas put away so i will probably need to use them.

I really need to get back into money saving the last few weeks have been more about money spending than saving.

I have managed to get my debt back to under what it started at in January and i want it to stay there so i will need to start to get things under control again need to get more focused.

    Hi

Well i haven't updated in a while.... which is not good! I've been off on holiday all last week... havent been anywhere just trying to get house tidied and garden done. Its now the morning of the day i go back to work and im just getting around to sorting out my finances.... i really should have been in bed hours ago cause i have to be up and leaving house at 7am :( I haven't really accomplished anything on my week off well not money wise anyway.

Im going to update my monthly totals now as i won't have any extra money to pay towards anything this month so here goes:

    OVERDRAFTS:

ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND £800.00 no change

    LOANS:

ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND £6778.08 now £6527.04

    CREDIT CARDS:

    DEBENHAMS £1550.00 now £1495.00
    MBNA £3830.00 now £3820.00
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND MC 1 £9189.00 now £9100.00

ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND MC 2 £4465.00 now £4449.47
    TESCO £2265.00 now £2250.00
    SANTANDER ZERO £400.00 now £395.00

    TOTALS:
    OVERDRAFTS £800.00 no change
    LOANS £6778.08 now £6527.04
    CREDIT CARDS £21699.00 now £21509.47

TOTAL OUTSTANDING JUNE £29277.08 now £28836.51

Total paid off last month was £440.57
Total paid off since 1st January 2010 is £46.77

So my debt is now back under what it was when i started in January. So things are starting to look a bit better now i've actually started to get underway paying off some of the debt again.

So the good things that have happened this month:

    - We have a fence
    - We had our first BBQ
    - I've had a week off from work
    - I have managed to reduce the debt back to under where i started
    - I haven't used my credit card this month

    Bad things:

    - I haven't really done much with my week off
    - Money things are really tight and am struggling to pay my debts

I want to start again from the 1st July 2010 and am going to try my hardest to make some savings this month and re look at the bigger picture cause at the moment things are moving so slowly i really wonder why and how i keep going

Am going to try and update everyday or every second day :o

    Hey

I can't wait for the start of July im looking forward to making a start again. I've not been doing well with money or my weight so i want July to be a new start.

I want to loose 1st 9lbs in 6 months so i need to lose 1lb a week. I would like to be able to reduce my debt by quite a bit too. Im going to set myself the goal of reducing my debt to £27000.00 by the end of December which would mean paying off £1836.51 in 6 months which would be £306.09 a month which is manageable as long as i don't spend on my credit card which i have managed not to do this month :T

Seaxwyn together we can do this.... i just need to make time to get on here instead of playing farmville on facebook.... spending too much time on there lately :o

I also need to get back into doing competitions, surveys and taking time to send off for freebies and putting things on ebay.

Am going to have some dinner and then check my bank accounts and my survey and cashback accounts

I desperately need a fresh start in july - I've really let things slip and have spent on Rubbish - had a little spending spree on Ebay which came to just over £100 - two swimsuits (goodness knows why) , two dresses (one is too tight - the other I love) and one top which is yet to arrive. It has to stop.

good points thank goodness I cut up my CCs otherwise I would have started using them again.

I am using the overdraft and now have to get that paid off - I have got savings equal to the overdraft which does make me feel slightly better.

All that sounds so negative - I'll shut up.

Buddiebabe - you have done so well to get your debt/spending back under control.

I like your plan of losing 1 lb a week - which is realistic - and when you mount it up over the 6 months as you say it is well over a stone. Do you follow any particular diet?

I too need to lose weight - its really getting me down too - I had a very bad eye infection a couple of weeks ago and was so worried I lost my appetite - unfortunately only for a few days but that resulted in a good weight loss - unfortunately I then put that back on again.

Hey MrsP would have replied last night but couldn't get access to the internet  so much for me doing surveys and coming on here!!!

Its sorted at the moment will just need to see how long it lasts!!

I went to Wilkinsons today to buy some labels and ended up buying a notebook, some folders and other non essential stuff but have managed to explain it away by my new start 2moro. I want to start July with a fresh outlook on things and by keeping an accurate account of every penny spent, every bit of food and drink that passes my lips and just a general kind of journal of what kind of day i've been having so that i can keep an eye on anything that may trigger me to eat or spend more!

Im working at 6 so i better think about getting ready. I usually do the weight watchers counting of points kind of diet but normally only do it Mon - Friday it works when i put my mind to it but at the moment im not in the right frame of mind for it but am hoping a miracle will happen between now and 2moro morning.

Only problem is it usually ends up costing me a small fortune buying all the healthy eating options instead of the junk i can pick up for a few pounds.

I have walked to work last night and intend to do so again tonight its only about 10 mins walking slowly but its still exercise at the end of the day so here's hoping things start getting better.

I also want to get the house in some kind of order the place is still a mess and i currently have 8 bin bags full of clothes to be ironed and sorted out lying in my living room. I did iron all the clothes i took off the washing line last night and also some of my fiance's t-shirts and i've taken in another load of washing about 10 mins ago so my aim is to iron anything that is dry (from washing just done) every night and add in a few items out of a bag so that it will get done.... just a shame i can't get into the bedroom to put it all away :o so the new wardrobe is one of the chairs in the living room :p

Better get a move on i will try and update again later internet permitting ;)

Well i managed to walk to work and it took 9 mins. Its not much but its the most exercise that i've done in ages.

I weighted myself at work tonight and i now weight 11st 9lbs  which is not good. If i can get down to 10st i'd be happy.

I came home from work tonight and did the ironing from the washing that was hanging on the washing line today so thats at least a bit of housework done. I really wanted to get some other stuff done but i haven't managed to do anything else yet just read my emails, have some dinner and watch a bit of tv. Im going to go to bed now and try and get some sleep.

The new money saving regime and diet are due to start in 28mins :o but i don't have any food in the house i can take to work for breakfast and im lucky if i have a couple of pounds in my purse so its not going to be a good start :( but am going to give it a go.... honest.... just need to start thinking that the glass is half full and not half empty....

Tomorrow is another day and another month..... hopefully a nice new fresh start

    It's July :j
Good luck with the new regime. Walking to work is a great idea - saving petrol and wear and tear on the car and getting exercise too. Do it a few times and it will become a habit and you'll think nothing of it.

Hope all goes well. Let's both keep tight control of the purse-strings this month. I look forward to reading about how you get on.

:jJuly is here.... hoping for a good start to the month.

So far today i have had the following to eat:

    - Toasted Bagel & extra light philidelphia
    - Sweet chilli chicken and noodles (light choice meal from Tesco) 6 1/2 points
    - Orange and chocolate cereal bar thing 1 1/2 points
    - Ham sandwich on weight watchers bread so approx 3 points

Thats not too bad considering i would normally have had biscuits, cake and maybe 2 or 3 packets of crisps by now :o and i've managed to cut that out :T in saying that its only 5.30 so i still have plenty of time left to eat junk but im not going to!!!

I have managed to spend the following today:

    - £2.22 in Tesco this morning (£1 for the sweet chilli chicken meal for my lunch and £1.22 on the cereal bars there are 6 in the box)
    - £4.17 in Morrisons tonight (£2.00 for 2 packs of bernard matthews wafer thin turkey ham, 70p for a pack of 4 baked potatoes and £1.47 on a pork fillet)
    - £20 on a wedding present for a girl at work who's wedding myself and my fiance will be going to the evening reception

So at the moment the running spending total stands at £26.39 which is not a good start but i would have had to pay out for the wedding present before the 10th July so thought i would just get it done.

I was going to take the car to work tonight but as it's dry and i'll be able to get a lift home im going to walk so i'd better get a move on.

When i come home tonight i need to do the following:

    - Put on a washing
    - Have a nice hot relaxing bath
    - Check my bank accounts and see if i have any money left
    - Find the wedding card and bag i have in the house and take it to work with me 2moro
    - Have my baked potato and pork fillet for dinner!

That's all i can think of at the moment but im sure there will be more later

    Will try and update later
