Hey
Wish i could come up with a great money making idea.... if i do i would share it with you!
I have spent the following today:
£28.48 on petrol
£2.00 in marks and spencers on food (used a gift card i'd been given so no actual cash handed over!)
£9.32 in Tesco again on food (used £8.50 worth of tesco clubcard vouchers so only a 82p cash spend)
So the amount available in my bank account now stands at £17.31
Amount of cash left in wallet £45.60 (have taken the odd 5p out and put it in my copper jar)
I was quite pleased with my spending today. I managed to not buy anything at work and i took my lunch with me. I filled up the car with petrol which worked out less than i had expected... its usually between £35 - £40 to fill it up but it came in less this time so im hoping if i can get the chance and have the time to fill it up again on Friday night after work out of my 2nd job wages.
I have the dentist 2moro so will have to pay something when i go there.
I had an ebay buyer file a dispute with paypal last week saying they hadn't received the item now if they had contact me directly i would have refunded them straight away instead they went straight through paypal demanding their money. Its part of the reason i hate ebay. So i will have to file a compensation claim with royal mail. The item wasn't that expensive in fact i think it was one of my 99p auctions so am not that bothered i just hate that buyers don't even contact you first before actually complaining through paypal.
I've made lasagne tonight so am going to have some of that for my lunch 2moro. Not sure what i'll have for dinner as i've got the dentist so will see how that goes and how i feel after the work is done.
Am going to try and get some sleep now

Hi Buddiebabe - I know exactly what you mean - I'm struggling in and out of the overdraft at the moment (I hate it and whish I didn't have that facility but I can't live without it at the moment).
Once again I have identified that most of my money is being "wasted" on food. I have lost the incentive I had months ago to meal plan and do one big shop and just cannot get up the enthusiasm to get my act together - but I must.
I haven't done Ebay for months - like you got fed up with all the hassle. I think boot fairs are better, but having said that I have loads of stuff to boot fair but cannot seem to find the time. Probably because working 9-5 on weekdays I don't feel like spending half a day standing in a field trying to flog stuff to make a few pennies
We're away in Wales over the half term holiday a week self catering and to be honest I can't wait to get away. Hopefully once that is out of the way I can get back to MSE properly and start to follow my SOA again.
Hope all goes well at the dentist - my last visit cost me £600
take care xxDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hey
Well i now only have £3.84 left in my purse and -35p in my overdraftI was doing really well but i had the dentist last night which i paid £20 to and then i have a wedding reception that im going to in a few weeks so it was another £20 to that so i don't really feel too bad spending that cause i haven't wasted any money.
Am just going to head to work

Hey
Well thought i would give a quick update. I have paid all my bills this month and i have 76p left in my overdraft but also have £50 left in my purse.
I have £86.00 saved for bills for next month which is quite good cause i never ever have anything left at the end of the month. I still have £75 to get from my fiance and also another weeks worth of wages from my 2nd job.
Now for the bad news! My car is playing up again so i have taken the day off of work to put it into the garage to get it fixed and to get its MOT am really dreading the cost of it but am more concerned about just getting it fixed as its been driving me nuts for weeks now.
I went and ordered new glasses yesterday that ended up costing me £189.00 which is for 2 pairs with one as sunglasses. I know its alot of money to spend on glasses but i haven't had new glasses for 4 years and they are so scratched that i've been struggling to see for the last few weeks. I have my HSA plan so i'll be able to get £70.00 back for them which is not too bad so i'll only really have paid £119.00 for 2 pairs which = £59.50 a pair and it will make such a change being able to wear glasses i can see through in the sun!
I have arranged for the fence and shed to get started which is going to cost £1110.00 to get the work done.... so thats going to cost me £555.00 which is not too bad as i have £215 to get from my fiance back for the cost of the tv which means i only need to find £340 for my share.
We were given £1000 yesterday from my fiance's mum and dad towards our wedding so that will bring the amount in the account up to £7043.18. They have also said that they will give us another £1000 when the can afford it. We have said that they don't need to give us anything but they are insistent so we are not going to say no.
Out of the money that my mum and dad gave us i am going to take out the money that i have already paid for my dress £579.60 (well im not going to take it out the account yet i think i will keep it in there to use for my share of the fence £340 which will leave me £239.60 that if needed i can use for the car if i don't need it for the car i could use it to pay back towards one of my credit cards or towards the shortfall for next month which might be a better idea as i think im going to struggle to meet my payments next month as ebay isn't going very well but then again i haven't really listed anything new.
Im loaded with the cold and am feeling lousy today i really want to get the house tidied and some stuff done but i think i might be better just sitting on the couch watching tv and trying to get better.
Will try and update later once i know how bad the damage to the car is

Hi Buddiebabe - you seem to be very organised. Don't feel guilty about the glasses - hey you need to be able to see don't you
Fingers crossed for the car.
Hope you feel better soon - I'm off to veg out in front of the TV myself now.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hey
Well things arent as bad as i had expected. The car was only £118.30 :j which has fixed the noise and has also passed its MOT :j im so impressed by the service i got at the new garage i took the car to. It turns out that the garage that had done the original full service and had replaced the brake pads that cost me £400+ had missed so much that was wrong with the car but this garage has fixed it and it only cost a fraction of what it would of if i had taken it back to the original garage.
I had £100 in the car account so i took that out and it leaves me £0.66 so am hoping that i won't have to fork out alot more for the car although i have been advised by the garage that i will need a new tyre so will get that this weekend using some of the money i have taken out the wedding fund account. The next big expense for the car will be the road tax in September which gives me 4 months to save for that
I also took £340 out the wedding fund account as i managed to get us wedding insurance from Debenhams for £53.00 and hopefully if it tracks £20 cashback from quidco. I have paid money into my bank account so i have £97.76 available in my account and also have £240.00 in cash sitting beside me just now so will need to figure out what im going to do with that money. I also have £45.78 left in my purse i have put the 3p in my copper jar leaving me £45.70 in my purse.
I bought the following:
Book from charity shop £1.00
Food £5.62
MOT for car £118.30
Wedding Insurance £53.00
Total spent today £177.92
Am off to check my bank accounts to see if there is anything i have missed then off to watch the scheme on BBC1

Hey
Well i spent some money todayi got 2 shrugs (kinda like a cardi but smaller) both black and some jewellery and spent £41.00 in total. Im going to a wedding reception on Saturday night and needed something to wear so i found a dress i had in the house but needed something to wear with it. Which reminds me i must go try them on to see if they fit cause if not they can get taken back 2moro!
Will go do that now to make sure i know what im going to wear and will come back and update
Buddiebabe xDEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970 -
Well am still not sure what im going to wear as my dress feels a bit short will really need to go to town with the fake tan to try and disguise my white legs!!! The good thing is that i can take one of the shrugs back 2moro and get £12 back.
Off to work now
