    Hey

Well one of the girls at work is moving house and was saying that she was getting rid of baby stuff so she has a baby monitor set that she was just going to fling out. Its not boxed but she says its still working so she just needs to find it.

If she's not happy with that then she can buy her own :o

My spending for today so far is £2.50 for my zumba class but i do need to get some bread and vitamin tablets for OH tonight but he had left me some money so im hoping i won't need to spend anything!

Will update again if i have anything to report

    Hey

Well i didn't post last night after work i just came home went for a bath and straight to bed was so tired and i've got the cold again :( which is not good.

MrsP zumba was in my lunch hour yesterday and was good if i didn't feel so rubbish with the cold i'd probably feel better!

    6th October

    £2.50 zumba
    £0.53 bread

    Total spend for 6th October 2010 £3.03

Today has been worse spending wise as i haven't been feeling well i've not bothered so much with no spending!!!

£0.50 Pancake from trolley at work
£3.00 Asda cafe macaroni & chips (not very nice and not worth breaking diet for :()
£4.49 Asda (2 bottles of diet irn bru 1.50 and wedding magazine £2.99)
£0.82 Tesco 6 pack of frisps

    Total spend for 7th October 2010 £8.81

Not too much spent but could probably have done without the lunch, juice and wedding magazine oh and the frisps :o but my biggest problem is when i don't feel well i just want to feel better and usually eating makes me feel better.

Going to try and get some sleep now and hope i feel a bit better in the morning

    Hey

Haven't really had the chance to update lately. First thing to do is update my spending for last few days:

    Friday 8th October

    - 86p Asda - 2 packs of polo mints (needed for journey to and from funeral)
    - £2.00 euro millions ticket
    - £2.00 Asda lunch
    - £24.06 Petrol

    Total spend for Friday £28.92

    Saturday 9th October

    - £1.40 Superdrug (sweets and crisps)
    - 80p Superdrug (sweets and crisps)
    - £4.13 Superdrug (toilet rolls, newspaper)
    - £4.50 Tesco (chocolate cake, bread, lottery ticket and thunderball ticket)

    Total spend for Saturday £10.83

    Total spend for Sunday £45.98

    Monday 11th October

    - £4.40 Wilkinsons (2 boxes tissues, 12pack space raiders, 3 packs tool hooks and file folder)
    - £8.00 Marks & Spencers (oriental meal deal)

    Total spend for Monday £12.40

Well thats not been a cheap weekend and alot of that stuff i really didn't need to buy but its been done now!

Went to a wedding show on Sunday and ordered our wedding cake which we managed to get a 20% discount on and we came in under budget so that was good. I think i have seen the flowers i want too and i got a phone call today from the florist and she has our date free which is good am just not sure if i'll be able to afford some of the things i would like. We have also found an option for my wedding ring which would be less than budget and still a custom made ring as it would be from a wholesaler so will need to pay a visit to them at some point too.

My brain is like mush with all these wedding thing i still need to do.

The house is still a mess and i didn't get the chance to put any new things on ebay on the free listing weekend but did manage to get my stuff relisted and i have 2 things selling at the moment for a total of £19 so at least its something.

I really need to get the house in order but its going to take a long long time to do. I cleared out my bedside cabinet tonight and also under my side of the bed and made the bed which makes me feel like i've done something. Only problem is that the wardrobe that i had cleaned cause of the damp and the mould is still not clean and when i opened it tonight it smelt really badly of damp and mould which means i need to get rid of it :( which doesn't really leave anywhere for my clothes so i will need to get something for this but no idea what to get.

I really think that the damp or mould is really starting to affect my health.

Am going to catch up on the other threads then head to bed

    Hey

Not been around much lately so much stuff going on i just can't focus on money so i have just been spending on the credit card like there is no 2moro :o i haven't dared to add it up or even post on here for a while as i have been in such a downward spiral money wise its not even funny.

Things haven't been going too well but i am looking forward to starting November as a nice fresh new month and seeing just what i can actually achieve before christmas.

This is just a quick update as i am hoping to spend my day off 2moro organising my spending, money, wedding related stuff, the house.... MY LIFE in general.... must remember i only have one day so can't stop once i get going just need to get on with it!

The only thing i will say is that none of the £1000 + i have spent has actually been wasted... most of it has gone on things i need... maybe not right now but will need in the near future.... have went a bit crazy stockpiling tins of food and washing powder but my feeling is that if i buy these things now .... before the end of October when November comes i won't have to do a massive shop for anything and with any luck will only buy exactly what i need and no more as there will be no credit card to spend on.... well thats the plan anyway.

Will try and update again 2moro and althought it will not be a good update i hope it will be the start of me finally getting my !!! into gear and making a new start!

    TOTALS:
    OVERDRAFTS - NIL

    LOANS £5773.92 now £5522.88
    CREDIT CARDS £20984.00 now £21734.00

TOTAL OUTSTANDING OCTOBER £26757.92 now £27256.88

Total paid off last month was -£498.96 :o
Total paid off since 1st January 2010 is £1626.40 :j

Well its not actually as bad as i thought it was going to be. It's still an increase of just under £500 but it could have been so much worse.

I still have some money in the bank and i also have some cash in my purse so going into November i don't think things are too bad.

I will be paying closer attention to my spending this month am hoping that there are going to be no unexpected purchases this month and that i will be able to get by with the money i have coming in.

Things for the last month haven't been too good but im finally starting to get the house into some semblance of order and am hoping that i can start the month by clearing some space and getting rid of things that are getting me down.

The first thing to go is my dolls house :( i've had it since i was 4 but it is damp and i have no room for it im going to have to take it to the skip which is really upsetting me but the more i think about it the more i know im never going to use it and i need the space that it is taking up in my house.

What i think i might try and do is to get rid of one thing a day (something thats broken, no use or just something i don't need) which should help to de clutter the house and give me more room.

So here's what i want to do in November:

    - get rid of something every day
    - update this diary every day with what i have spent as it really helped me to focus last month until i went off the rails
    - list 5 new things on ebay this month

It's only a short list at the moment but as the month goes on maybe i will be able to add to it.

I would like to get the debt down to under £27000 again so that will be my main goal for the month but i wont leave myself short by making payments every day as this is where i have been going wrong and then not having enough money to get me through day to day.

Here's hoping November is a good month

Good luck! It's a good idea to get rid of something every day. It will be sad to say goodbye to the doll's house but I'm sure you will never miss it and you will appreciate the space it frees up. I had a lovely doll's house when I was a child, I still remember playing with it, but it disappeared at some point and I certainly don't wish I had it now. When my daughters were off the age we got given several dolls houses in fact. I think they are things that are easy to come by as people are always getting rid of them to free up space!

Good luck with November. You are still ahead of me, I haven't even made it under 28k yet. I am about to post my October reduction of £14.89

    Hey

Thanks for the comments re the dolls house... i am really sad to see it go but it was just cluttering up space and i think i'd prefer to remember it how it was instead of the state its in now :o the other thing being if i ever have kids i wouldn't want them to have to play with something in that state i would want them to have a nice new one :p

I haven't really flung anything out as such tonight but i did go through a box of paperwork and some of that ended up in the bin so am hoping that will count as getting rid of something!

Today i have spent the grand total of £2.90. I bought a bit of tablet 60p, homemade soup £1.20, pancake 50p and fruit scone 60p and i didn't really need to buy any of that and probably wouldn't have bought it if my boss hadn't asked me to get her a fruit scone.... which reminds me she didn't give me the money back for it  i know she will.... well i hope she will.

Its a better spend than i have done in the last few weeks and it was all cash so even better.

I've got to go to a training course in Glasgow 2moro so i'll need to pay out my train ticket which is going to cost me £11.25  and i won't get that back until i get paid in December :(

I came home tonight to find a DS game that i won off ebay for 99p had arrived.... don't have the DS yet but my sister has bought me one for xmas so i treated myself to a game i wanted out of my ebay sales last month so it only cost me £2.90 in total so am really pleased with it... it looks like its in excellent condition.... just need the DS to play it on now!!!!!

The only other piece of mail was a letter to tell me that i had won a george forman 10 portion grill from a prize draw for a consumer panel im on.... and it will be here in 28 days :j am soooooo excited..... was thinking it was just junk mail but there was a questionnaire in with it for me to fill in so that i can get my details put in the magazine against prize winners... not sure im going to do it but i get 100 points if i do and 200 if i send it with a photo!

I decided to go onto the tesco website to see what i could redeem my clubcard vouchers for as my OH has decided that he doesn't want a fancy watch as he would be too scared to wear it so i no longer need to save up my vouchers for the wedding now. There are lots of things you can change them for but nothing that i really wanted so i managed to find a 2 nintendo ds games bundle for £14 of vouchers so i ordered 2 of them. One for me (for when i get my new toy) and the other for my mum and sister who can share them. So that's one thing for each of them for their christmas which didn't really cost me any money which was good.

All in all today has been a good day. I have had a relaxing first nights holiday from my 2nd job and am off to bed now to get some sleep as im up earlier than i would be if i was just going to work :o will probably end up spending some money 2moro but if i can make the earlier train home i shouldn't have any problems otherwise its an hours wait if i don't get that one....which can only mean SHOPPING!!!

Going to try and sleep now will update my spending 2moro
    Nite nite

Buddibabe - well done on the George Foreman!!

I have started a spending diary and am shocked as I started it from Thursday which was payday and I've already spent just over £300 :( However, its interesting to see where it all goes. My only consolation is that I always spend more at the start of the month - food etc., - well let's hope that's the case!
