Hey
MrsP i did a really big shop last month so i wouldnt really need to buy anything much this month apart from small things like bread so i wouldn't have a massive food bill.... just need to stay away from all the good offers that are on or my plans to cut back could go up in smoke.
Well i went to my training today up in Glasgow and im shattered! The day was ok but i haven't been on a train in ages and i feel terrible... i thought it was just cars and buses that i got travel sick on but i guess it goes for trains 2!!!
Today's spends:
Tesco £2.27 (kit kat, bottle diet irn bru, xxx mints and the sun)
Train Ticket £11.25
WH Smiths £3.80 (prima xmas magazine and 2 twirl chocolate bars)
Total spend today £17.32
I will get that £11.25 back but not until the middle of December. Most of the other stuff i bought wasn't necessary but i needed something to read on the train and chocolate to keep me going
I got home tonight for my neighbour to tell me she had a parcel for me and it was my george forman grill :j can't believe how quickly it came. Its a ten portion grill and when you look on the official website its worth £99.99 so tempted to try and sell it and get some money but on the other hand the one i have only does one chicken breast so if i keep it i'll be able to use it.... decisions decisions.... at the moment it has pride of place on the bedroom floor.... the only room that has a bit of space to keep it
Did make a start clearing and tidying when i got home tonight and have a bag for recycling full of paper, two carrier bags of rubbish, a carrier bag for the charity shop and some more stuff for ebay.
Also all my ebay stuff ended tonight and i managed to make a grand total of £33.26 which will be less once i have paid my fees but its another few things out of the house and another couple of pounds in my paypal account :T
I really really need to de clutter this house.... we have no room to live or keep the things that we would really like to have so will need to keep getting rid of things or just continue to put them in the shed.... which is filling up so fast may need to get another one to cope with the stuff inside it
Am off to bed now as i have managed to really hurt my back... i have a horrible feelin i have a trapped nerve as i keep getting shooting pains up and down my leg and back
Will update spending again 2moro

Sell the grill! You have managed without it all these years so you know you don't need it, and if you keep it, it will only be clutter. Whatever £££ you get will help to get the debt down, so get it on ebay asap!
I hope the pains in your back die downTotal debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Hey
Well unfortunately the decision to sell the george forman has been taken out my handsi came home tonight to find it in the kitchen plugged in and had been used to cook OH's lunch today and the box has been disposed of in the bin today
Oh well i've not really lost anything and if it makes OH make the dinner more then i suppose it will be worth it in the end.
Since i came home tonight i have went through my ebay boxes and i have got rid of a bag of books to go to the charity shop 50 odd videos which my sister is going to buy off me i told her just to take them but she wants to give me something for them so i've asked for £5 which works out at less than 10p a video and it gets rid of 2 boxes out of my house :j
Am going to take my books into work 2moro and see if anyone wants them for 50p each instead of relisting them.... will see if i get any response.
Today i have spent the following:
50p Pancake
£3.57 on 7 lightbulbs for my kitchen lights
£2.00 for works euromillions syndicate
50p into lift for collegue who is off sick
So total spend today is £6.57 so its not too bad today. I needed to get the lightbulbs as there are 4 in the kitchen and one had went out last month and i didn't bother to replace it so last night when i put the light in the kitchen was on another bulb went so you couldn't really see much in the kitchen.
Im going to go through the rest of my ebay stuff and see if there is anything else im going to get rid of

Buddiebabe - sounds like you are getting motivated to de-clutter - keep going
Enjoy the George Foreman - it was meant to be that you kept it.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hey
MrsP the great declutter has ground to a resounding halti just can't be bothered.... feel like i've lost my mojo.... if i ever had it in the first place!
I NEED MOTIVATION!!!!
I've been trying to read some threads on here to try and get back into the swing of things but am getting no where fast.
Need to try and not get into self pitying mode cause i know i won't be able to snap out of it.
Ok here goes with the spending for Thursday, Friday and Saturday:
4th November:
60p chocolate truffle
£10.84 Asda (lunch, 4 bottles of de icer, 4 bottles diet irn bru, 6 light bulbs and wedding magazine)
Total Spend 4th November £11.44
5th November:
£10.10 Dentist
£8.40 parking in Glasgow
£0.04 Boots - bought Juice and chocolate but OH gave me £3 so i only had to pay the 4p difference
£4.90 Wedding Magazine
£9.60 2 sparkly compact mirrors for bridesmaids for wedding bags
£4.80 Bailies Chocolate gift for OH's sister for xmas
Total Spend 5th November £37.84
6th November:
£3.00 Craft Fayre
£25.00 Take Away for myself, OH, Mum and Dad
£10.00 Tea light holders for wedding
Total Spend 6th November £38.00
Ok so it's not been a cheap couple of days
The things for the wedding i should really be taking out of the wedding fund.... but the money for them should really be there to start with so can't do this. Its little extra's that I want so if I want them im going to need to fund these myself.
The craft fayre was rubbish... it was basically a school fete with loads of screaming kids and not many stalls.... i was lead to believe that it was a craft fayre with lots of people that would have hand made stuff but no there was only one my friend who had pursuaded me to go... so disappointed as i was looking for inspiration for the wedding but didn't get anything and it cost me £3.00
The take away tonight was to say thankyou to mum n dad just for being there and we also went to theirs to watch the fireworks display so we didn't need to pay £4.00 to get in we managed to see it all from the balcony of their wee flat and we didn't have to stand out in the cold for hours waiting for it to start so it was worth it although the food wasn't up to much am just glad i didn't eat all of mine or i'd probably be really unwell now.
On Friday we went up to Glasgow to get my wedding ring. We had been quoted ridiculous prices from the jeweller that i got my engagement ring from in excess of £1300 which was no where near my estimated amount of £500. We ended up in a wholesale jewellers that we had met at the wedding show and ended up getting my wedding ring for £220.50 and this will be shaped to match my engagement ring :T we then went to their gifts department and for xmas i now have a lovely new everyday watch which the RRP was £110 but we got it for £44 and a watch to wear on my wedding day for £88 this will be my present from my OH. We also got him a watch to wear on the wedding day and will be my gift to him for £151 all of which were purchased on his credit card but will be paid for from the wedding fund which i will pay back when i can afford to.
So Friday was a productive day in that we got my wedding ring but also an expensive day with the parking charges and we also started the xmas shopping.
It's free listing on ebay this weekend and so far all i managed to do today was relist the 151 items i had on my unsold list. Im hoping to get some new things listed 2moro.
I really need to get motivated and get up off my !!! and get on with things. Im going to go and get some sleep now and hope that when i wake up i'll be in a productive ebaying cleaning and decluttering mood..... fingers crossed
Nite Nite

Good morning.... or is it???
Well im awake so i suppose thats a start! I need to get cracking with some money saving and money making ideas... the first thing i should really be doing is getting stuff listed on ebay but i've so much paperwork lying around that for the first hour im going to go through that and see if i can get rid of any of it.
I also have to send away my tesco vouchers so i get the DS game bundles i traded my points in for.
So the first hour will be spent going through paper work then am going to tackle the task of ebaying. I can see a few things in my room that am going to put on... just can't be bothered with the photographing and weighingbut needs must.
I'll then alternate it an hour of listing on ebay and an hour of looking for stuff to list and tidying as i go.
I have 4 empty boxes lying at the end of the bed one for the kitchen, one for the bathroom, one for the livingroom and one for the charity shop. Its so that when im going through my stuff if its not supposed to be in here it will go to the room its supposed to.... thats the general idea anyway!
Going to make a start on the paperwork. Will pop back at some point when i feel like taking a break

Buddiebabe - how is the paperwork coming along?
I think you've done really well to get some Christmas presents as well. Its a good idea to buy all the little bits and bobs you need for the wedding a bit at a time. I love the sound of the sparkly mirrors!
We are coming to Glasgow for a few days over Christmas - can you pm me the name of the place where you got your wedding ring? DH has promised to get me an eternity ring to wear all the time as I'm now too scared to wear my engagement ring after I lost a stone out of it.
Ouch to the parking charges in GlasgowDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hey MrsP
The paperwork isn't getting anywhere fastI found some unopened mail so have been reading that! I also found a park xmas savings catalogue.... i used to be an agent for home farm hampers but stopped doing it after the farepack company went bust but i know that my money is safe with park so have just been on their website and ordered £100 of gift vouchers for next year. I have 51 weeks to pay them up and have already made my first payment of £10.00 so at least i know that i can go and pay them up every week and i will definately have some money for xmas next year cause with all the wedding expenses that will be coming up i know im going to struggle to do anything so i thought that if i commit to this it means i can go into the website any time i have a bit extra in my bank and pay them pennies at a time. If i don't want to continue to save i can also go in and reduce my order too. So at the moment im guaranteed £10 for next christmas :rotfl:
I'll send you a pm of the jewellers address and also their website and you can go on and have a look at some of the things they have. Their customer service is amazing although if you are going in over the xmas period they will be very busy and you may have to queue to get in. They sometimes lock the doors but you will still be able to sit in their waiting area and have a coffee. The pm will have to wait until i can get out from under this pile of paperwork i have buried myself under
Better get back to it
