Actually I had a nice birthday this year, and even a party at my friend's house, with cake and candles and everything, so I am not complaining. But January was a hard month for me while Feb will be easier, so let's hope by 1st March we are neck and neck again.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hey
Sorry for not posting again for agesam struggling this month to find time for anything.
I haven't listed anything new on ebay yet and am not likely to for a while either unless there is a free listing day cause i have no time to do new listings and the only things i can do are relist all my unsold items but don't want to do that until free listing if i can help it!
I've not had a good start to feb so far i've only managed to pay an extra £1.24 towards my debts and i haven't even started on the minimum payments yet.
I have a day off my main job 2moro but i need to go up to Glasgow to pick up my wedding and engagement rings but it's going to end up costing me a small fortune in petrol and parking but the train would be more expensive and it takes ages so the car is the best option!
Im going to go try and sort out some paperwork just now and then try and get some sleep as i was out last night and am still suffering today

Commiserations. I'm having a tough february too. I've just had to pay £220 for a school trip, on a credit card. It's never ending. My debt is higher than it has been for a long time and I am really fed up with it all.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hey
Its not good when you get unexpected expenses from out of nowhere. We will get there in the end it just always seems like a constant struggle... which is why i find im not posting on here so much as if i don't write it down its not really happening!!
We had someone come out last week to see about getting new blinds put up. The others are broken and one set just don't work at all and there is quite a bad draft from the window... now i know its the window but the blinds did make a difference. Anyway, we got out a company that were advertising 3 blinds for £66 so we thought that would be good if we could get them.... you should have seen the colours that they came in OMG if you want your house to look like a rainbow then these blinds would be ideal  so we looked at the others we thought we would like.... i.e. white ones so for 2 vertical blinds and a roller blind for the kitchen its a grand total of £161.00 which we have paid £70 of... well the wedding fund has taken the £70 hit at the moment but we need to find £91 for friday. I have some money in my house account but there won't be enough there to pay the gas bill (there won't be enough for that anyway) so i've spoken to OH and he's agreed to pay half. I feel like im constantly asking him for money for things that i shouldn't be but there is always something that comes up.
I have been worrying about how im going to pay the gas bill and house insurance when they are due as im not able to put money away for them due to saving for the wedding. He has agreed that i can borrow the money for them out of the ISA and repay it monthly after the wedding which will take some of the pressure off i hope. It's one less thing to worry about.
He has also found out tonight that his dad has to go in for an operation and i think he's really worried about it but he doesn't know much about it so will go and visit his mum and dad 2moro night to see whats wrong and how things are.
Im trying to keep upbeat but my 2nd job wages were £78 last week and it cost me £50.11 to fill the car up with petrol which really doesn't leave me with much at allfeel like am constantly working for nothing and getting no where fast.
Need to loose the bad feeling and get into a positive frame of mind asap... hopefully will be able to do some budgeted wedding related shopping 2moro which will maybe make me feel a bit better
Here's hoping!!! Off to bed now

Buddiebabe - sorry that things aren't going so well. How is OH's Dad? Its horrible when you have that worry on top of the money worries.
I know what you mean - there does always seem to be something - once I get things relatively "straight" something else happens.
I feel for you with the blinds - I know how expensive they are - our one in the bedroom needs replacing it's a wooden one - I loved it when I first bought it and now I hate it. It has ripped the wallpaper either side of it (the window is a deep recess so curtans are not really an option) and I've got some damp on the wall and the actual blind.
My Dad has very kindly sent me a cheque which is going to all go on debt repayment - even though I am tempted I am not even going down that road again - my first priority MUST be to get my CCs paid to start with.
Take care xxDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hi there...noticed on your diary you mentioned you were waiting for a free listing weekend on Ebay - there's one this weekend. Hope this helps.0
