Hi buddiebabe. Hope you are having a fun weekend. If you are up for an ebay challenge, I have set myself the target of listing ten things today (yes i know that's a low target but I am so rubbish at doing ebay).

    Hey

MrsP OHs dad is ok at the moment he's not had the date through for the operation yet but hope its sooner rather than later. The blinds are up now and they aren't as good as the last ones we had but they were less expensive and we now have one in the kitchen that we didn't have before. It was such a good feeling actually getting some work done in the house its such a change from sitting about doing nothing!

Sparkle80 thanks for letting me know about the free listing days

Seaxwyn i've been working all weekend so have only just managed to relist all the items that haven't sold last time so unfortunately am not up for an ebay challenge this time but im not working next weekend so could be interested in a challenge for next weekend if your up for it?

I hope you have managed to reach your target of ten for today.

The house is really depressing me but am looking forward to next weekend so that i can get stuck into clearing out!!! well that's the intention anyway ;)

Moneywise this month things are going from bad to worse but i really can't bear to look at it at the moment so again its another job am going to be looking forward to tackling next weekend. Its going to be a busy weekend!!!

    Hi Buddiebabe

I'm glad the blinds are sorted. Our house seriously needs attention. I discovered really horrible mould on the wall of one of my daughters' bedrooms. It is so damp, but worst of all there's a big crack in the roof and the rain comes through. We're going to have to get the insurance company to look at the crack, a job we have been putting off for ages.

Anyway, on a happier subject, I have listed 17 things! And I have several more to do before I stop for the day. Mind you, I don't expect most of them to sell. But if even a few do, it's been worthwhile.

I would be up for a challenge next weekend. One thing I really have to do then is sell my car. I should look out a few other potentially more valuable things as well.

    Hey Seaxwyn

Re the mould you should get the Dettol mould and mildew spray it works really well in getting the mould and damp stains off of walls... it is quite strong and smells really strong but it gets rid of the marks.

That's great you've managed to get 17 listed so far i hope that they all sell for you. I've checked the items i relisted and so far i have one book selling for a grand total of 99p :D will see if i have anything easy i can list before the end of the night.... i have 134 items listed and one selling.

Im looking to declutter and ebay next weekend so am hoping that i can empty some of the rubbish out of the house next weekend.

134 wow! I have 19 and I think I'll call it a day. So far, no bids and no watchers.

Thanks for the tip about Dettol spray, i will get some of that.

Hope you have a pleasant week and look forward to some more ebaying next weekend.

Woo hoo! I already have a bid! £9.99! That was the one thing I knew would sell, some unworn Nike running shoes that were given to my daughter (so the money is for her anyway). But I have a watcher on a 99p item, and a whole week to go....

That's great that you have a bid already... it can get quite addictive watching the items to see if they have bids.

I've now got 141 items listed and 7 of these items have watchers am hoping that at least 11 of these items will sell.

That's me done for tonight will hopefully have lots more to list next weekend

  • WOW - listening to you too has made me want to start selling on Ebay again - I got fed up a few months ago and haven't bothered since then. Will start sorting stuff this week (I've got loads of clothes) and will start putting them on.

Buddiebabe is it still free to list if you start off at 99p?

    Thanks.

Hey MrsP yes its still free to list items at 99p and under but its a limited amount of items you can list depending on your ebay account. Some people are limited to 10 a month or 100 a month.

So far this weekend i haven't done much ebaying... i have got rid of two bin bags of paper rubbish to the recycling bin and a big back of rubbish to the normal bin.... have also managed to look out about 5 things for ebay.

I've started a bag for the charity shop too but there's not much in it at the moment... but am hoping that i'll be able to fill it up tomorrow.

The house is filling up with stuff for the wedding which isn't good as there is nowhere to store it but at least i know that after September it will all be gone!! Well most of it will be.

It's not been the best few weeks money wise. My car wasn't running right so i had to take 2 days holidays from work as i had no transport to get there and not enought money for the bus or train :o The car is now back on the road 3 new tyres and a set of break pads which wasn't as expensive as one garage had quoted me so it was only £210 but still more than i had available to spend.

Am going to go get my dinner now hopefully will have some more to report later

sorry to hear about the car expenses. Ours failed its MOT today and it is going on ebay tonight.

9 of the 21 things I listed last weekend have bids, and another 4 have watchers, so I hope we're going to get a bit of money in. A
