Buddiebabe's new beginnings....

Hi Buddiebabe - the buyer said that she wanted it for her daughter! Anyway I have refunded her and she is going to send the bag back. My DH says its the best thing as I can always sell it again. To be honest, I think she changed her mind. I'm not very happy about it as I had already "spent" the £25.
Some good news today I have managed to get an MBNA credit card and I can get a life of balance on it. Its half the percentage that my Egg card is at. So, I'm going to transfer over my Egg card and one of my lowest CCs. Therefore I will reduced my CCs to 3 instead of 4. However, I will still owe the same, but I have a psycological advantage (if you know what I mean), in that is only 3 cards to pay off now.:j
You put me to shame with your exercise. After Monday I have not been near the Wii fit coach.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
HI buddiebabe and Mrs Porridge. Commiserations with the ebay buyer. I have recently had to refund two Amazon buyers - one was my fault but even so it is annoying and discouraging.
What a shame about the keep fit class. Hope the teacher turns up next week. If your legs are aching, the gym must have done you some good.
Good luck working out the plan for April. Won't it be nice when we've paid off our debts and don't have to scrabble around for money all the time?Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
MrsPorridge - I wouldn't have refunded the buyer until i had the goods back just incase they decided not to return it... speaking from previous experience this has happened to me before  It's good news about your credit card and getting the low interest rate.... i just hate MBNA.... i would say one thing just watch what they ask for as a minimum payment... mine is normally just £1 or £2 over what they have charged me in interest sometimes its not even enough to cover what they have charged me.... ok rant about MBNA over now!!!
As for my excercise i have eaten so much chocolate today it hardly seems worth the effort!!! I hope the class will continue as i really enjoy it... the music is really upbeat and always makes me want to go out.... i think i missed that just as much as the class
Seaxwyn - I can't wait for the day when i don't have to worry about how much money i do or don't have. I would just like to be able to go to the bank and know there would be some money there if i needed it. I have £2 in my purse and that has to last me until 2day... i was going to say 2moro then realised what time it is.... note to self... must stop staying on MSE until early hours of morning!!!!
I made it into work for 8am this morning so managed to do an hours overtime... it's only plain time but it's one hour extra. Overtime is due to end this sunday as next week will be the new start of the financial year and new budget so i really need to go to work on Sunday but i don't want to.... i keep trying to justify it to myself that if i dont go to work i'll spend the day on ebay listing things, however, i know that if i don't go to work on Sunday i'll probably not move from the couch!!! What do i do????????
I listed six items on ebay tonight that had previously been buy it nows but didn't sell... maybe they will now they start at 99p
Going to get some sleep now

I think you should work on Sunday - much as you need a rest, it's the last chance and think how useful that money will be. And also.... think about your holidays! Two whole weeks when you won't have to work, or bother with ebay, or do anything except enjoy yourself - and it's not too long to wait now.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Well i made it into work again this morning for another hours overtime... again its only plain time but it does mean if i go in on Sunday it will be double time. Im still undecided about Sunday...
I know i should go in for the money but the system has been playing up and work is not really a fun place just now... im struggling to get through a full day as it is and the thought of going in on my day off is not very appealing will wait and see nearer the time.
Seaxwyn re the holidays my boyfriends work cant tell him if he's going to get his holidays which is causing quite a few heated discussions. He wants to go ahead and book as he doesn't see there being a problem getting the holidays but i don't want to book incase he doesn't and he loses the money..... so not that sure whats going to happen with that at the moment
Im starting to not feel like myself again... im getting really angry all the time over silly little things again.... i really thought i'd sorted all that out.... but who knows....
Just feeling a bit fed up tonight as i've done nothing that i wanted to do and ended up spending lots of money i dont have on food shopping for the house and petrol to get me to work. Today is not a good day am hoping 2moro will be better

Oh no I'm so sorry to hear about the complication over the holidays - is there any reason why they might not give him the time off? Surely taking holiday is his legal entitlement. Sorry to hear you are not feeling good, hope that you are feeling better today.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hey
Well i didn't go into work today. On Friday we found out that they have dismissed our job evaluation appeal which means that we are not going to be going up a grade which for the job we do we really do deserve some more money as we are being paid just a little bit more than the clerical staff  it does mean that i can now look for a job that is clerical and i wouldn't have as much stress and i could possibly find one nearer to home. Will just need to start looking now
I was at a 21st birthday party last night which was outside with a bouncy castle but it was freezing cold so we only stayed for a few hours and then ended up back at another friends house until 1am this morning so i knew then i wouldn't make it into work!!! The only conselation is that i did get a text from one of my friends who did go into work to say they had been sent home as the system had crashed so it saved me the petrol and i did get a long lie in!!!!
I have 9 items currently selling on ebay for a grand total of £14.20 :T
I have just updated all my finances and i have only just managed to have enough in the bank to cover everything and i've had to use the difference between the money i have put away for the mortgage and the actual payment that's due to come off. Which means i've already used the extra money i have saved from the mortgage and it's not even April yet!!!
As i won't have any extra money to pay towards anything this month im going to update what's outstanding as i know it won't change so am off to check everything before updating

Well i have done another 2 loads of washing and cleared my half of the bedroom..... i've not been able to get in either the wardrobe or cupboard for soooo long!!!! I can now see the carpet  and i don't have to climb over anything to get into bed. I have flung out two bin bags full of rubbish and have managed to find two and a half boxes of stuff for ebay!!! Just need to find the time to list all the stuff now
Buddiebabe xDEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970 -
Well i have listed 22 magazines that were hiding on the other side of the bedroom..... not the stuff i had looked out today but am happy at least i have now managed to put something on ebay rather than nothing... i don't feel like i've wasted the day now
Going to try and get some sleep now
