Hi Buddiebabe - how are you feeling today?
I like the idea of the football programmes for the birthday present - I am sure he will appreciate them. I always find men (especially mine) extremely difficult to buy for.:D
I am trawling the house for stuff to boot fair on Sunday. I found two pairs of shoes I have never worn so they went in the bag. The boot fair will cost £5 so I'm hopeful of a decent profit. Please keep your fingers crossed for nice weather.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hey
Am still not feeling too great the sore throat is still there but not much i can do about it... just going to have to live with it until it decides its fed up and wants to leave!
I had my last appointment with the health visitor about the stress management thing i was going to. She was happy to see that i have completely changed my outlook on alot of things and was very pleased with my progress and if im honest so am I. Yes things can be bad but there are worse things out there and other people worse off than me.... its just sometimes I cant see that!
I went to my bums tums and thighs class at lunchtime which cost me £2.50 but made me feel really good after it.... it gave me happy dolphins (cant say endorfins) so i just call them happy dolphins :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I also walked to the appointment with the health visitor. It was only 10 mins down the road but it made me feel better and the sun was shining so it helped. I walked back up the road and then i also walked to work tonight. I think i must be ill!!!
My ebay listings are still at 279 and i now have 11 items selling for a grand total of £25.49 :j three of them finish in the next hour but im going to get some sleep cause im struggling to stay away just now.
MrsPorridge i finally found your thread so have now subscribed to it so i dont loose it again. I will keep everything crossed that you get good weather for your carboot sale.

Hey
Well it's been a mixed day today. I woke up not feeling too well again  I now have a nice lump on the roof of my mouth which is red and looks horrible.... but you can only see it if you are staring into my mouth so its not too bad!!! No idea what it is so i phoned the docs but was told there were no appointments available apart from with the doc i saw the other night so i told them i wouldnt see him again. Will need to phone again in the morning
I came home tonight to find a bill from 3 for £0.01   so i phoned them and gave them a piece of my mind and demanded a letter confirming my account is definately closed and that i do not owe them any money.... they only issued my refund last week... that company is laughable!!!!
I've been spending the last hour trying to sort out my finances for the rest of the month and so far i still have the following to pay this month:
- £143.88 that i am short to cover all direct debits
- Debenhams minimum payment (amount unknown as yet)
- MOT & Servicing £30
I still have 2 weeks wages to get from the shop (one 2moro and one next friday) but will also need to get petrol and shopping with those. I have 1 week worth of money to get from my boyfriend which cover the savings for the MOT & Servicing and the minimum payment for Debenhams.
I have withdrawn £70 from paypal tonight for stuff i have sold on ebay i was going to wait until i had received feedback for the items before i did it but i need the money in the bank more. If people are looking for refunds i'll worry about it at the time.
Am off to bed now hopefully 2moro will be a good day

Just thought id update. I was feeling alot better yesterday morning... it was the first day that id woken up without a sore throat.
I was working all day yesterday 10 - 6 and then i was going out last night. It was a birthday party for one of the girls i work with in the shop and it was fancy dress. It was supposed to be an abba night but turned into a 60s, 70s and 80s fancy dress party. I went to the charity shop in the morning and got a top for £3.99 and then went to work. My sister went and got me accessories and leggins which ended up costing more than i would have liked. The party was fun we got there about 8 and didn't get home until 1am and i managed to drink over half a bottle of Malibu  so am feeling a bit delicate today and to top it off my sore throat is back with avengence but i know i have no one to blame but myself this time
My sister is taking me and mum for lunch today at 2 will need to get off the couch and get dressed. I'll need to try and get some housework done to at some point the place is a mess!!! Its always the same when i have a night out there's make-up, clothes and shoes everywhere!!!

Hiya Buddiebabe - your weekend sounds like fun!
Hope you had a lovely lunch today (I did).
Did really well at the car boot and made £80 plus got rid of some large bulky items so now a bit more space around the house!
Take care.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hi MrsPorridge
I had a lovely lunch today it tasted even better as it didn't cost me anything!!! That's great news about the carboot sale and the space in the house. I just wish the weather up here was good enough for a car boot sale it's thinking about snowing here!!!
I've did some housework and have put the washing on so just waiting for the second load to finish so i can put it in the tumble drier not exactly money saving but essential as the weather here is terrible!!!
Most of my free ebay listings ended today making about a total of £18.00. Most of these items had been listed so many times before and didn't sell but they seemed to this time! I have re-listed all the items that didn't sell which only cost me 50p as i had a few items over 99p to relist. I now have 262 items listed and none selling.
I will need to get some new stuff listed soon. I have about 100 football programmes that range from 1958 - 2001 so i'll try and set myself a goal to list ten programmes a day starting from 2moro.
I need to look at my accounts and see how things are adding up or not adding up and see what i can do to get the figures to add up.

Just a quick update i still haven't looked at my accounts yet but there shouldn't be anything too bad about them everything is paid apart from Debenhams and nothing else is due to come out my account until the 1st April so i still have time to find the money im short.
One of the items i relisted on ebay this morning is selling for 99p already :j woo hoo!!! I have listed 8 football programmes tonight but have remembered how long it takes. They have to be described accurately so it means looking through them, seeing if the staples are rusty, describing the condition which takes so long as every one is different  and most of them are in really poor condition it means i can only start them at 50p each... never mind if any of them sell i'll be 45p richer :rotfl:
Going to try and put some more stuff on just now.... total listings at the moment stand at 271 with 1 item selling

How are you feeling today Buddiebabe?
I managed to list 3 items on Ebay over the weekend - one has "bought it now" for £25.:j The other one has bid up to £25 and still has 2 days to go. the final item has no bids but 2 people are watching!
I have some more items which I am hoping to list this week.
good luck with all yours - keeping track of 271 items will take some doing.:DDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Wow Mrs Porridge - amazing sales - £80 at a carboot sale is fantastic!
Good luck with the 270 items buddiebabe. I'm currently wondering whether it's worth listing a load of old junk from my parent's loft on ebay. If it's only going to get 99p, minus ebay fees, I don't think I can face it. But I'm sure some of your football programmes will turn out to be worth a few quid.
The Abba party and free lunch sound fun. Hope you manage to shake off the sore throat this week - and that spring arrives for you. we had a lovely sunny weekend down here.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
