Buddiebabe's new beginnings....

Hi Buddiebabe - I've got the grand sum of £18.49 on 72 items listed! Its still better than nothing I suppose. I haven't checked my accounts (know I'm overdrawn this month - so its damage control at the moment). Knew it would be bad as for me its been a 5 week month and I had time off work over Easter so spent more.
Take care.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -

Hi,
Didn't want to read and run as they say, you need a break from time to time so good for just having a chill out night, I've read your diary (hope you don't mind, always seems a bit intrusive), all you seem to do is work, bless you.

Hi Helnag thanks for reading... hope you werent too bored!!!
I enjoyed my relaxing night. Was off from both jobs yesterday and was looking forward to going somewhere for the day but unfortunately i ended up staying in to try and sort out my finances. I had been neglecting them lately and i spent most of yesterday trying to work out how i was going to get out of the mess im in.
I haven't been paying enough attention to everything this month.... and it means i haven't put away all the money that i should have. I always put away money every month for gas, house insurance and car etc. I haven't put all the money away this month so i will need to try and make this up next month
I have paid all the bills i have to pay this month so i will try to pay back as much as i can from the money i was supposed to put away. It's going to make things a bit tough over the next month so will see what i can do.
I listed some new items on ebay last night so am hoping that they will sell... no bids at the moment but its early days yet. I still have all the original stuff listed i just keep relisting it as it's free. I now have 308 items listed with 2 of them selling for £1.98.
Am working at 12 so am going to go start getting things ready for work

Hi Buddiebabe - I've found it difficult this month as well. I get paid monthly and it worked out to be a 5 week month.
My Ebay bits have gone up to £41:j I held up the post office queue this morning posting off 12 of the items which have already sold and people have already paid via Paypal. Just checked and some more have sold so will package them up shortly and go back to the post office.
Well done on finding some new things to ebay. I am struggling as I now find you have to give free P&P as the first option on DVDs. Off to see if I can find some more junk:DDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hey MrsPorridge im really struggling with money and ebay. Thats really good news about your bids.
Just in from work to an email from a buyer saying the CD they have just received has no CD in it!!! I have no idea where the cd is so am going to have to refund him... not a good start to the weekend.
I have hundreds of things to list on ebay but i just cant find the motivation or the time!!!
I should really be getting on with it now instead of being on here but never mind im just going to log into my ebay account to see if anything is selling and to relist the things that haven't sold.
Am toying with the idea of doing some housework but then again.... there is always ebay
Will try and update again soon

Well i have listed 16 items tonight on ebay so far.... nothing that will make me rich but if i get a few pounds in i'll be quite happy.
I have a few watchers on the stuff i listed last night so thats promising... at least some people have looked at the items.
I currently have 324 items listed with 2 selling for a grand total of £1.98. 60 of them finish within the next 2 hours and only one of them is selling.
I have taken another 15 photo's of items ready to list so am going to make a start on them just now. If i can get them listed tonight that will mean i get rid of one box full of stuff out of the house and up to mums in the hope it will sell.

Hi buddiebabe. How's the throat?
Good luck with the ebay items. With 324 things listed you must be guaranteed to make more than £1.98.
I'm still helping my parents clear out their house and Ihave had to give loads of things to Oxfam just because I haven't had time to deal with it or space to keep it. Very frustrating! (I keep reminding myself that Oxfam will make good use of the money).
However today mum gave me a box of 'first edition' stamps and I am determined to sell those. Even just the 'face value' of the stamps would come to about £60. Here's hoping.
Hope you are feeling well and not too stressed about the bills.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Hey Seaxwyn
The throat is not too bad... its definately a stress thingits been not too bad the last week. I just keep relisting stuff in the hope that it sells and so far i've managed to get rid of quite a few things i've had for year ts that just didn't sell. I've managed to put on another 4 items since my last post and im just plodding away trying to get stuff on.
I used to collect stamps for years i was a member of the stamp bug club and had lots of first day covers and albums full of stamps.... i have no idea where they are now... i have a really funny feeling they are still at my mums.... don't think she'd let me sell them tho!
There's not really much point stressing about the bills.... they are all paid it's just the savings for this month i haven't managed to put away.... im hoping that i get a few £s from ebay and that i can speed up the repayment of the money i have used. Im treating it as another debt otherwise i'd not pay it back.
I have peace tonight as the boyfried is out with friends so i've got my cliff richard dvd my mum bought me on and am sitting here singing away listening to living doll!!!
Sad i know but never mind
Hope your doing ok... are you looking forward to starting your job??

Living Doll... I like that song too.
I'll tell you if I get good prices for my first day covers, so you can work on your mum.
I have done one day in the new job and really enjoyed it. It's a place I used to work years ago and it felt good to be back.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
