Hey Buddiebabe - at least you are getting organised. I've not done at all well yesterday or today and have bought some new clothes. I have also given DH £170 as he wants to buy a GPS and this is for his birthday which was last month. it will mean I will be overdrawn this month (I was last month) unless I can make that money up. I have done well on the Ebay front and have now made £102. However, mainly due to one item going for £42. I am aiming to try and make £100 per month from Ebay. I am going to relist all the items that did not sell (all for 99p) and have got some more items which should go for a bit more. Need to sort these out this week.

You have done really well with your weight loss. I have given up on mine at the moment as I just love food far too much. Will start again on Tuesday when I go back to work. Its always more difficult at the weekends I find.

    Hey MrsPorridge

I tried to reply last night but ended up pressing the wrong button and everything disappeared

Managed another NSD yesterday which is all good :D am hoping today will go the same way as i have no intention of leaving the house! I have cleared out my fridge, freezer and cupboards and written everything down so i need to work out a meal plan for this week. I need to make up a shopping list so i know exactly what i need to get so i don't overspend on the grocery challenge.... so far i have spent £0/£150 so thats a good start to the month. Im hoping that the only thing i need to get from the shops this week is bread, bagels and fresh orange juice.

Im doing ok with ebay at the moment i have 16 items selling for a grand total of £35 which is the best i've done in a while.

Im going to go check my finances again today just to try and keep on top of them.

While im on here i've got some really bad music playing... its kinda hardcore rave / dance music but i want the cds listed on ebay and i know i need to listen to them before i put them on.... i don't usually mind that kind of music but the stuff thats on just now is rubbish :o

Will update once i have checked my finances

Well accounts are unchanged at the moment. I have managed to transfer £15.99 out of my paypal account to cover the AOL direct debit of £15.99 so thats one less thing to worry about.

Im still waiting on people paying for the items they won from me last week im hoping its just cause its a holiday weekend people will either pay tonight or 2moro.

Going to put some things on ebay now... honest i am....

I will not come back on here until i have listed 5 items!!!

Did you do it?..... I still need to list my first day covers. I'm not going to to do it today but will set myself a challenge to get some listed on Wednesday. I've got a lot of CDs to sell too (or rather my OH has... he'll never notice). Have you had any problems selling second hand CDs? I'm put off by worrying people will complain they don't work, even if I've tested them and know that they do.

    Hey Seaxwyn

I've just listed 10 new items to ebay... some cds, toilettries and underwear sets. I've only had the one problem with a cd and that was when i sent the buyer an empty box!! No one has ever come back and said they don't work... although im sure some people do but if that happened then i would ask them to return it to me and i would refund them... it could be a fault with their cd player.

I don't ever tend to get much for cds just usually 99p or just above but one of the dance cd singles im selling at the moment has been bid up to £5.00 and i only paid £4.99 for it!!! it was back in 2000 but i never imagined it would go for that much... it still has 2 hours to go but i wouldn't expect it to go for any more than that!

I now have a total of 17 items selling for a grand total of £37.02 :j fingers crossed the bids keep coming!

Hey Buddiebabe - I listed some more items on Ebay yesterday and re-listed those that did not sell before - total now on Ebay is 45. I have got quite a few clothes mainly from M&S which don't fit me and I have been hanging on to them in the hopes that one day they will - think I will put them on Ebay this week as well. Every little bit helps and I need to pay off my overdraft this month.

    Hey

I had a really good couple of days on ebay this month so far. I have sold 40 items for a grand total of £83.21 :j this is before all the fees have been taken off so i know its not going to be that amount that makes it to my bank but it feels good knowing i've sold 40 things from my house that i don't need anymore!!!

I didn't manage a NSD today or yesterday i had to buy some food shopping and toilet rolls so i have started on my grocery challenge but haven't spent too much yet.... i have also managed to stick to my meal plan for two full days now which is so not like me!! Usually i write down what i think i would like and then change my mind and have something completely different! A wednesday is always a spend day for me as i have my keep fit class at lunch time, however, when we went to the class today we waited around 10 mins and no-one appeared they forgot they were supposed to be taking the class  so that didn't cost me my £2.50 but it also meant i haven't really done any form of excercise all week :o I got weighed tonight at my weight management class and i lost 1lb :T not much but to be honest i didn't think i would lose anything this week so am quite happy with that. In total i have lost 5lbs so far.... i don't really notice it but am going to keep going.... have decided to add this into my signature 2.

I have listed 2 new items on ebay tonight but have lost the motivation for it.... the sales i've had over the last week should have spurred me on but im just far too tired for it :o

Need to set myself some tasks / goals to do daily... so here goes....

    1. Check bank accounts
    2. Do any surveys that come into email box
    3. List one new item on ebay every day
    4. Reply to feedback left on ebay
    5. Do 5 competitions a night

Just a small list to start and so far today i have done the first 4 am off to do number 5 just now and will try and update again soon

Buddiebabe - congratulations on your weight loss - as one who has been struggling to lose weight for the last two years I know just how hard it is. I am so busy and quite stressed at work at the moment (and that is my excuse) so haven't really done much exercise as I am too tired at night and have been concentrating on Ebay instead!

I have set myself a small challenge in trying to list 5 items on Ebay per night. I have got 5 books to list tonight and will do that in a moment. Have no idea what I'm going to list tomorrow though!:D

Have joined the May NSD challenge just tonight as I need more motivation in that department - I have slipped back into my old habits of buying the odd bag of crisps here and there during the day and thats not good for the purse or the waistline. Am aiming to have 5 NSDs between now and the end of May. Actually, am secretly hoping to manage more than 5, but if I set the figure too high and don't reach it I become demoralised.

    Good luck with your competitions.

Well im struggling with the diet today... im doing not too bad but at work i had a mini piece of thorntons caramel shortcake, 5 wine gums and 4 rich tea biscuits :o and i've just sat and eaten a cream egg.... cause i wanted to!!!

The novelty has worn off at the moment for the last week i've been tired, crabbit and really quite down about it hopefully i'll be able to get back on track 2moro.

I have a new job... i found out today.... :j its no more money but it's doing something a bit different.... still in the same office but i will now no longer have to deal with the public enquiry counter :j:j:j:j:j

That's the bit i hate the most about my current job ;)

I will get a date to start the job 2moro but it may not be for another 4 - 6 weeks possibly longer but at least i know it will only be for a few more weeks!

Things to do before i go to sleep tonight:

    1. Check bank accounts
    2. Check ebay account, leave feedback, relist unsold items (not sure if anything ended today but i'll check)
    3. Do at least 10 competitions
    4. Get boyfriend to make sandwiches for morning.... will need to ask really nicely ;)
    5. Go to bed before 11.30... its been after 12 the last two nights and im really getting tired

MrsPorridge im doing the May NSD challenge and i would have had another NSD today but last night i found 2 small bites on my leg which have got worse and really itchy so i had to buy some cream for them tonight at work.... i have no idea what bit me or when it happened  it just itches like crazy!!!

I would love to be able to list something on ebay every night but with me working both jobs it takes all my energy to sometimes switch on the computer.... i am trying harder but am feeling quite run down just now.

Good luck with the ebay listings... you'll be matching my 300 odd listings in no time :rotfl:

I have checked the bank accounts and updated my post with everything that has been paid out today.

I have also had to add another outgoing to the list. The money for the postage of the ebay parcels. My mum takes them to the post office and posts them for me as i haven't got the money out my paypal account yet she pays for them to be posted and i need to give her the money back. So far the amount i owe her is £40.12  I've transferred the money out of my paypal account to cover it but it wont be in this week so i will need to give her the money out my wages 2moro and wait for the money to go into my account.

As im classing that as a debt it's now included in the list

I have left the feedback i need to, closed an unpaid item dispute and relisted the item. Boyfriend has said he will make the sandwiches so only 2 things left to do... my competitions and getting to sleep before 11.30
