Morning everyone!
Indeed, what have I started? I'm glad you all appreciate the smilies though. Some of you have obviously had great fun with them all - I wonder if any of the techies can add them to this forum. Polkadot, think it was you who couldn't post the smilies - I always right click on the smiley, copy, then right click again and paste it where I want it to post.
I didn't do much flying yesterday, but was summoned to M&D's house to go through some of my sister's clothes that she was getting rid of before they went to the charity shop - can't believe it - there was a top there for £27 that still had it's tag on and had never been worn! It wasn't my taste at all, but still! It must be nice to be able to waste that sort of money. I also ended up going through a filing cabinet (one of those ones with the small drawers) that had been mine when I lived at home, and have now got another bag of stuff that I have nowhere to store. It's mainly all of my flute books and music, but I haven't played my flute for years. I keep saying that I'm going to start playing again, but living in a flat, it's not very practical. I may when we move to the house, as I can play it in the study then.
OH had just left to mow lawns for people as he couldn't do it on Friday when he was off cos of the rain. I made sure that he made me a cup of tea before he left though.
Just found out that he hasn't left yet, and says that I need to move my car cos it's in the way. I told him I'm in my nightie, and have given him my keys so he can move it for me. The parking around here is getting rediculous - even the grass verges were covered in cars last night!council!
Had another lay-in this morning - really shouldn't have cos I may get called up at 7am tomorrow to go and do supply, and I won't be awake! Which reminds me - I must dig out a work outfit and find my black pumps which have been buried since school finished 6 weeks ago. If I have the outfit and packed lunch ready to go, it'll make things easier for me, as usually the supply is 30 mins drive away, and it may be at a school I haven't been to before too, which means I have to find it too. The agency did say that these couple of weeks would be quiet, but you never know.
Well this post is getting enormous, so I'd best stop typing.
Happy flying, and I'll probably see you all on the new thread tonight.

Okay - whoever has the pure caffeine drip can they pass it this way? I feel awful this morning. I'm exhausted, aching all over and have a cough, cold and the start of a sore throat. I guess I'm run down
Last thing I need ATM. Dosing up on meds though.
Done this morning:- Most of the clean washing put away (just a couple of summer things to go in storage)
- Beds airing
- Livingroom & kitchen hoovered
- Recycling out
- DD up & sorted in about an hour as we didn't get up until 9am and ex was already on the train on his way here by then
- chicken breasts in to poach in the slowcooker - I was going to make a broth for tea but the instructions on the packet of broth mix says soak for 8-12 hours or overnight  So thats in to soak and I'm cooking the chicken today so I can make the broth for tea tomorrow
- BM on
- Dishes
- Lunch for me
- Tea - thinking sausage casserole (beans & chopped tomatoes, Just remembered I have the left overs of a mix in the freezer as well
) with instant mash.
- ironing
- stuff out for tomorrow
- STUDYING - this has to be done. Assignment due in Friday :eek::eek:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
I have put some of DS's stuff on Freecycle this morning - one of the items loads of people want and I don't know who to give it to so I might end up pulling names out of a hat!
I've done some sorting in DD's bedroom but there's still loads to do. I'm still trying to get some washing done although I've resorted to using my dryer as although it's not raining at the moment there is no way my washing will dry outside!
I suppose I ought to think about dinner as well seeing as the kids are hungry!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

OH wanted the grand prix recording and i said i would if we werent using the tv - but hes just set it up to auto record .. so now i'd feel guilty stopping it.. although he has text me saying i can if i want.
