Lil-me - you're really quite a little money saving genius on the quiet aren't you! You have a fantastic strategy wrt the caravan and the financial benefits due to elec and gas savings and your quality time for studying.
I salute you big time !
Right, I'm off to bed even though I'm hungry. It's true what they say about chinese food (the stirfry I did this evening). You eat it all then you're hungry a couple of hours later even though I did have a goodly portion...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

soappie, I do have a method in my madness and I am not just an overgenerous mother giving them so many holidays
plus at the mo DP has manflu and it gets me out of being nursemaid to him as I leave him at home to go to work
I stocked him up with half of Boots before I left. Got a bit of it myself but I just can't cope with him moaning all the time! He has said when he's not away on Sundays with racing he might come up but I doubt he will really. I'm also going to use the inclusive pool during the week when I want to go swimming
saves me the £20 a month each fees at the local baths. Showers, that's another one included, I can have extra long showers if one of my friends here will watch the boys or I can get them to come with me, I do tend to have a long one in the private cubicle after swimming aswell, bliss, it's one thing that probably costs me a fortune at home because I like to shower at least twice a day. Oh I will save on the storage for that time too, so another saving there. Might see if they're doing the same offer in spring and autumn next year too. I'm not a genius, just as tight as a kippers **** as DP puts it
and proud of it!
I know what you mean with chinese style food soappie, I did a rice/chicken/veg stirfry for my tea and grumbling awaymy friend is chinese and agrees, he said chinese people tend to eat all day because they're never really full.
Right, done the banking, downloaded my data sets I need, DS1 still awake so might have to bash him on the head with a hammer in a mo. TTFNOne day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Serena - hugs to you. I'll be thinking of you and your dad on Tuesday.
Thanks to everyone for their good wishes about how work's going. You don't know how good it is to work again after so long. Pink fairy - my clinic is just where I do my treatments from (reflexology, aromatherapy, hot stones etc). The ik*a work still brings me out in a bit of a sweat after busting my wrist there but it doesn't stop me being attracted to the catalogue. I just sent DH to get what I wanted instead of going myself (I have been back once though - i'm dead brave me!).
Chunky - was your friend really chuffed? I bet she couldn't believe it.
I'm planning to have a lie in the morning which will probably mean i'll wake up at the crack of down!
Ooooh nearly forgot - welcome back anw'smum and lilme xx0 -
Morning everyone.
Just a quick hi before I go to work.
The rain here has eased a bit. Im watching the main news and the town next to me is on as they have had massive flooding. My friend txt last night to say she had to evacuate her house but she is safe.
Plenty of flying to be done at work no doubt.
Take care and I will catch you all later.0 -
Morning all,
I've been up for nearly an hour already, but that's because I went to bed at 8.30pm last night. I was so tired been as I'd been working and driving all day.
Off to make another coffee and then get DS up for his paper round. Looks like I'll end up driving him round this morning. He has to deliver them in two hits, as Sunday papers are so full and heavy. Takes him well over an hour. He has to leave to play football, somewhere miles away at 9.00am so looks like Mum will have to muck in.
House is a pigsty all because I was at work yesterday and no one did a thing except make mess. DH did overload the WM but it's all still in there wet. Plus it's still very very wet outside.
On the positive side though that means it's just me and my mini flylady this morning. So we should get something achieved. I hope.
Off for a coffee. Back later.0 -
morning all,
no rain here this morning for a change although i fully expect it to rain later! i love sundays, they are usually lazy pyjama days here:) i may have another go at dd's bedroom today or i may leave it until tomorrow.

i may plan a trip to the launderette for tomorrow for bedding and towels to get myself straight again (will wash it at home and take it there to dry it)

Morning all,
Lil-me: enjoy your swimming this week
Boddy - I've just been looking at the news about the flooding up your way. It looks pretty bad around Morpeth. Hope your friends don't suffer for too long.
No rain here this morning but it looks like it'll rain at some point. I've some washing to do but it seems pointless as I won't be able to line dry it.
Right, having sat on my derriere for most of yesterday, today I'm determined to move about a lot!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning All
Need to do quite a bit today but don't know where to start!
Went to the Wacky Warehouse last night and booked DS's party so had tea while we were there.
Polkadot - shame you don't live closer to me then you could have made DS's cake for me. Definitely enter the competition - your cake was brill!
DS has wet the bed and he's just come down to tell me he's put bicarb on his bed to soak up the wee. I dread to think what it's like now!
Right I'm going to have a look at DD's bedroom not promising to do anything but I'll go and have a look!
Catch you in a bit

Morning
Congratulations Vanilla :j
Welcome back AnW'smum & lil_me
Been up since 6.30am darn my body clock, think I'm a bit stressed with money etc or lack of lol been figuring out what I can do with what and when etc, WTC took over £50 off my usual amount last week and it's knocked me for six, I'm supposed to be getting a letter with my new amount on
Aaaaaaaanyway, nuff of that.....folded all the clean washing that had accumulated round the house and placed in appropriate rooms, collected the dirty washing that had accumulated round the house (it's not mine it's the kids! grrrr) so that's packed up and ready to take round to OH's to wash  made my bed, looked in teenies room and quickly closed the door he's SO doing it when he comes in today, made 2 brews and a 3rd is imminent, caught up on the Christmas board cause I'm in full 'get started' mode for that, got lots of bits in already that I've bought through the year so my christmas cupboard is looking quite healthy.
Plan for today:-
Go visit granddaughter :j get food shopping, spend hours doing washing at OH's, come back stick the TD on, cook roast dinner, sort uniform etc for school tomorrow, hoover through, load DW, switch it on!, potter.
Brew time....again......0
