    Morning everyone,
Got to bed right and early last night but then was woken by a phone call at 2.30am from a very drunk friend.

Bo's in this morning and seems happy enough being in the pig house :j , plan today is finish the coursework and sort the kitchen a bit, wash school uniforms:o and do out a meal plan.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Morning ladies and another wet day here - will it ever stop raining.

Soappie fab news on your DD I hope she really enjoys the course - is it for a career change? Is she coming home whilst she studies, I think you mentioned that at sometime?

Serena hugs hun you really are having a stressful time. I'm glad the boot buying went smoothly it is one of my most hated jobs - I still haven't managed astro's for either of mine although I did get boots for one. I've exhausted all the shops here too! I've not been bootsing for a while as I'm using up my stashes to avoid going in altogether.

    Dusty's Plan for today:

    wet wipe boys bedrooms x3
write a list of what clothes I need to buy
    make soup
    buy some meat for dinner
    hand sewing
    ironing
    make some sort of cake
    freeze blackberries.

Best get to it then - shower first as I seem to be having a hot flush!
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

Can't remember what the cocktail was other than it was nice ;) will ask my friend later. I do remember the price though........ almost $50 for 3

Looked like cosmopolitans to me. Vodka, cointreau, fresh lime and cranberry, garnished with a flamed orange.

Edit: Yes i do know my cocktails AnW'smum, just saw your post. 8 Years working in cocktail bars will do that for you.

GnB – I think you can be forgiven for carrying your DD’s bag from school – didn’t she recently have an op on it

Yes she did, she has surgery every 6 months on it and wears a spinal brace.

Apologies for the disjointed posts, i am reading the pages i missed last night and replying as i go:o

Well, I really don't know where to start this morning. How can a house get so untidy in the space of 24 hrs  and how come Mount Washmore has grown so big:confused:

Oh yeah, that's right. It's cos I was at work yesterday and DH thought to do a BIG FAT NOTHING ALL DAY:mad: Except seriously overload the WM and leave it in there all day. But that's OK cos the 'house fairy' will come along and sort it all out:mad:

Right enough whining I suppose and start some flying instead. Think I'll start with my normal dailies list and go from there. At least that'll get everything where it should be and make the house look sort of normal, if you ignore Mount Washmore that's standing tall and proud in the middle of the kitchen floor.

Off to find my list to post.

Yes, it's for a career change. She had originally wanted to do a 4 month intensive course in journalism until she did a week's work experience in the summer at the local paper and decided journalism wasn't for her :rotfl: - she would have had to come home then. But, this is one saturday a month plus the odd evening tutorial so she can still earn and lodge with her friend.

  • morning ladies.

It's sunny at the moment here but it is wet outside so the rain isn't ever far away. Just thought i would do a need to do list for today:
    • [STRIKE]make soup[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]go out for birthday lunch[/STRIKE]
    • make a birthday cake
    • post off DVD rental
    • [STRIKE]wash a load of DH's work T-shirts[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]stain soak then wash a load of white clothes[/STRIKE]
    • empty airers
    • hang wet stuff on airers
    • do a load of ironing and generally try to get DS1s room fit for him to go in.
DS2 slept from about 8ish last night to 5 this morning, so that is a big improvement. I put him in a gro bag as we thought the night before he was waking up from wriggling up in the travel cot and hitting his head and arms on the side of it. That appeared to work better and i feel a bit better for it.

DS1 had taken his nappy off this morning  I hope we are not about to start having problems with him now.

Hope you ladies have a lovely day.
