  • Hello

NSD today. OK day at work and actually looking forward to tomorrow. Friend came home for lunch and I found out she is really unhappy. I hope I helped but feel as if I just talked too much :(. Will monitor closely.

Have rung doctors and got a repeat perscription for friday and appointment for Wednesday.

Not much else to report might go and prepare dentist charges reclaim that I just remembered I havent done . Did ring RAC who have cancelled DD so new item on the to do list. Go through tesco site and pay for renewal.

    Catch you all later

  • Back again a few things to report.

Spent £6 on lunch yesterday because I could claim all but £1 back. Brought OH two pairs of trouserd a total of £22 inc delivery, Hes a nightmare size to buy for (too skinny).

Today I spent £4.10 in Tescos part lunch part grocery and have sent OH for some ship shop chips to go with the slow cooked pork. Kept forgetting to buy potatoes even though I was in Tescos . OH appears to be paying though so bonus.

Have got a £47.50 refund chq for canncelling social club trip for family. Just too expensive as another £47.50 due. Had a letter from school asking for £120 towards DD1s school trip by end of month .

Looking to do the body shop but as a xmas seller only. £40 outlay for £100 worth of samples and no minimum parties required. Wordt that could happen is I end up with xmas gifts!

Feeling tired a long week that flew by. No sign of the MBNA transfer yet. Hope no more additional costs happen. Already need another Tesco top up. Freezer may still be full but other stuff run/running out :(. Never ending isnt it!!

A bit of moneysaving via a friend. She kindly donated a coat for DD2 and some shoes for DS. Coat fits lovely and DS will always need new shoes so will have some ready after the next growth spurt.

Still need to put claim in, do RAC via Tesco, pick up perscription, pay chq in oh and spend birthday body shop token :).

Hpe everyone well and September going ok.

  • I'm getting there KP. Phoned in sick to work on Monday, just couldn;t bring myself to go there and work in that atmosphere anymore. Got myself off to the docs on Wednesday who gave me a sick note for a month and prescribed me some anti depressants. I'm not happy about taking them as I'd done so well weaning myself off them. Not been taking them since May. I obviously need them and I've decided to take them. SInce starting them on Wednesday I've done nothing but sleep. Apparently they make you drowsy for the first week or so. I must admit though I'm feeling a bit better already and even done an hour in the garden today:)

I don;t know whats tipped me over the edge as everything is going well with the relationship and money is getting better all the time so the only thing that's left is work and that has been bad over recent weeks. I can't believe that one person can make the place a horrible place to work in.

Anyway, glad to see that everything is in order with you, I love reading your lists, I've even started to do some myself to try and get me motivated. It's not quite working with me at the moment tho!!!

Keep posting and I'll keep reading and hopefully I'll get back to posting regularly. Take care hun and thanks for your concern xxx

I hope everything goes ok, I know it must of been hard going back onto the antipresendants, but they give you some breathing space, if that doesnt sound daft. As for the sleeping, maybe ur body needed the rest. It sounds like u have a very understanding gp, giving u the months sick note, he or she seems very supportive.
Maybe you can use the 1st week or so just to recover yourself and look at everything with a fresh pair of eyes.
Even if you start an xmas list sounds daft, but may take your mind off things, stay positive and remember that you are an extremely strong and careing person,

I don;t know whats tipped me over the edge as everything is going well with the relationship and money is getting better all the time so the only thing that's left is work and that has been bad over recent weeks. I can't believe that one person can make the place a horrible place to work in.
I dont know how big or small ur organisation is, but is there someone there who you can have a quiet work with, maybe a HR dept, I do know what you mean about one person, my last main employment, we had a new top mgr and as I was not a yes sir, etc he made my life hell, I know the old saying "what goes around comes around", in my case never a truer work said, but that doesnt help the matter in hand. I and the other person he bullied we came through it both stronger, espically when we were each others witnesses in an employment tribunal hearings!

Anyway, glad to see that everything is in order with you, I love reading your lists, I've even started to do some myself to try and get me motivated. It's not quite working with me at the moment tho!!!

Just remember one thing, just take each day as it comes, your health is more important than rushing back to work. xx

  • Thanks mum2one. I've spoken to my boss on numerous occasions and it's not just me that this persons behaviour affects. SInce I gave in my sick note the !!!!! has hit the fan and she's been pulled in about it. It makes me slightly sick to think that for years this person has got away with it and now that I've gone on the sick something is being done about it.

Have done absolutely nothing this week other than sleep but I did manage an hour gardening today so maybe I'm getting back on my feet. Thanks again for the support x

Im sorry it had to take it to be your sick note before they finally took notice, I guess they finally realise now how serious it is.......if it was a weeks sicknote they would of said oh ok one of those things..........but a months sicknote.....its hit the fan very big time!
Fingers crossed something might get done. x

  • Hi GR Sorry I wasnt about last night, had a headache and just went to bed.

Sorry to hear the witch has resulted in you having time of work. At least it seems to have made your boss finally realise how big the problem is. I know for the previous posts how often you spoke to him about it. A month off should give the anti ds time to work and you can look after yourself for a bit.

Dont feel like you are a failure taking anti d's. Im about to ask to increase mine. Being depressed is an illness so sometimes medicine is needed to help cure it.

Also you should be proud at how hard you have worked to become debt free and have a good relationship. You deserve both just keep telling that to yourself.

    Lots of hugs

    W
