Sounds like a good weekend for you KP. I keep meaning to spruce up our garden too but my worry is that DD2 will take a shine to "gardening" ie pulling up anything we plant LOL!

  • LOL thankfuly the kids are past that but unfortunately we have slated the front garden and DS still loves playing with stones so am on the watch. He is under pain of mummy kisses and cuddles for a whole week if he touches them!

Really good weekend so far, had Thursday and Friday off and have been really productive - well for me - around the house.

Sorted out DS clothes, mowed lawn, finished front garden, kept kitchen clean and tidy, freecycled clothes and two palletts we never used.

Still do do - never ruddy ending.....:D
Complete and send form in for vouchers
Sort girls toys out with them ready for the repaint
    Declutter hallway
    Finish and post new budget
Work out Aug figures to date
    Take DS bowling
Buy DD1 new shoes and trainers
    Use the rowing machine
Do a shopping list and stick to it

Think positively:D - the fact you are even planning forward and know what is going to happen means things aren't as bad as they could be. Forewarned is forearmed and all that!

    How are you today?

  • Feeling a bit fed up to be honest. Dont know why things arent that bad  Shouldnt be hormones if it is they a a good few days late!

Waiting for info to come into do work so went shopping for DD1 shoes instead. Got some nice ones for £17 and some trainers for £13 so £10 under my hoped spend.

Back at work and now cant access another system I need and still no info so think aomethings telling me to go home!!. Id rather have a productive day as it will help in the week but hey ho.

Will surf on here for a bit and see how it goes. If I head home at least I can focus on that blasted budget.

Well done on being £10 under on the kids shoes. That's a good positive.Hope the day gets better for you. This budgetting lark is so hard isn't it?...but look at it this way at least you're not getting in to any more debt..so that's another positive.
