Thanks, am feeling a bit better today, was worried I was coming down with the flu (swine-based or not LOL) as I had it a couple of years ago and seriously, I thought I was dying then, I couldn't move and my temp got so high I had to stay in hospital as I was pregnant with DD2 and they thought I had meningitis:eek: It was bloody awful so you can imagine me feeling a bit apprehensive! Not flu though, just a bad cold - and as an aside, I hate it when people say they have flu when they mean they just have a bad cold, one of my pet bugbears! Anywayyyyyyy!
How are you today KP?Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

Yes I had flu once and it was a mare.
Im fine thanks. Busy week at work to which I need to be heading soon
Spent £6.20 on lunch but £5 reclaimable should also be able to reclaim the £7 spent on fish n chips since I got back after 7 last night. Not the best moneysaving ways should just take stuff from home but that would take planning!
My week off has been moved from next week to the 25th a bit annoying but hopefully will get brownie points due the bad start this year.
Friend who owes money has offered to treat me toa company trip to Mama mia in Nov for £10 :j for helping her out.:j0 -
Hope you are feeling better today ..have a good day xx0

Mamma Mia sounds good! As does a week off..... I'm with JoR btw, I hate it when people say they've got flu, when they mean a bad cold - 24 hour flu is a phrase I've heard used a lot in recent years!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Know what you mean about planning LOL - I keep forgetting to make OH's pack up even though I get stuff in for it. Thing is he's usually so busy at work that instead of going to get food he'll go the day without eating:eek: Now THAT makes me feel bad!
When I do remember, what I'll usually do is make it alongside doing lunch or tea (prob tea for you if you're at work in the day.) Like at lunch it's dead easy to just make another sandwich and do the rest of his pack up next to my lunch, or if I really don't have time then, I'll do it inbetween making bits for dinner, because I know come evening it's the last thing I'll want to do!Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

NSD although that measn I have eaten
Cereal, crunchie brought yesterday and five biccies all day.... ooops.
Healthish dinner of chicken pie, boiled potatoes, brocoli and cabbage being cooked so that should help balance things.
I was so busy and determined to finish two reports today I didnt really stop for lunch. On my own in the office so no distractions.:j0 -

Yep 24 hour flu cant be real. 24 day flu sounds about right as I found I was knocked out for a week but had a cough for weeks afterwards.
I had a nasty cold at xmas that meant I stayed in bed for a day or two - (partly becasue I could due to holidays) but I wasnt going to say it was flu even though I felt really bad.:j0 -

Nice M&S lunch again today - love expenses at times
GREAT NEWS :j Won 300 pips from housing association which effectivley is £300 of DIY vouchers. Labour costs too much but at least we can splash out on materials :j
Been really wanting to do the house only painted one room since we moved in 5 years ago. The lovely magnolia walls have various marksand muck on them now. It wont solve the hassle but not stressing about cost is great.
