Er want all of em done! Its really that bad - Priority is hallway which includes stairs and landing, living room and then the kids bedrooms. If we ever get through that then a lick of paint in the bathroom and kitchen would be nice. Want to see if budget stretches to laminate in the living room as carpet is appalling.

Thats great news! I painted my hallway a few years ago, made a big difference. But you have to have (well, *I* had to have) one of those bendy ladders that go in different shapes.... its quite fun, actually, the ordinary bits are really boring tho....

Still, always looks nice as you finish.

Flu - yep I cant stand it either when people say they've got flu when they've just got a cold!!! I only ever had real flu once, also when I was pregnant funnily enough, and it was horrendous!!!

Ooooh lovely news on the vouchers! I like decorating, I think the colours you have around you are really important to your mood and there's nothing like brightening up a room to lift your mood.

With these 3 little terrors laminate flooring is something I lust after also because kids + carpets = recipe for (paint-based) disaster LOL (don't ask!) I reckon you could easily get painted what you suggested - not sure how much laminate flooring costs though?

Had a good weekend nice and productive. Sorted DD2s mountains of clothes, dug up the front garden got rid of a bush then slated it. Spends that I can remember are

£58 shopping, £5 DS day out with nan, £50 garden, £7.50 lunch today, £9.40 toll road - flaming long journey to Manchester today - £40 Diesel.

There is prob a a bit more but not too bad. Most essential or expenses.

Out tomorrow then write up in office so not a bad week.
