Thank you Dizzy. I have been enjoying using my new handbag and purse today.
Other than that its been a carp day today.
1) sent of latest report for review as I know its wasnt great - collegue went through and there were my errors and stupids ones at that than I thought
2) came home at lunch for a break and to get lunch, opened a letter from Amex to find I had forgotton I had activated and used the card. I usually set up a dd to py the balance but for some reason hadnt. Anyways £12 + £1.18 interest charged. Piad the balance off in full and closed the account. I only got it for quidco what and idiot:o !
3) Eventually made my way back to work and my boss who I was meeting tomorrow texts to cancel. Why textwhy not phone? Is he trying to avoid me? Now I feel paranoid. Phone colleague and burst into tears. She has arranged a meeting friday to go through things and review where I can improve. At least she doesnt think Im a complete loss.
Fed up with job, I feel its too much with the family as well. I cant afford to leave it really and take a pay cut. I may look at the budget again at the weekend to see if I can do something. I will owe alot on the car if I leave as well.
Positive note other than using my nicer dicer againand my new purse and handbag is that it is a NO SPEND DAY (Sorry feel like shouting!)

Rotten headache today that kept threatening to go but then would reappear
. Went to work but ended up coming home before going to dentist. 1st day sick of the year. No idea what caused it?
Dont know how but my head felt the clearest after my treatmentbut not so much when I paid (£225 ). I can claim £200 back so not as bad as it seems. Just hope my other teeth behave themselves as I cant afford the remaining £360 worth of work due.
Booked DS bowling party for the end of the month and paid £25 deposit. Its £9 a head but it does include food and party bags we just need to supply a cake. Hes been adament that its another bowling party he wants. Pressie will be a day out at legoland using Tesco vouchers. Hoping to persuade family mambers to give him spending money for the shop:money: .
£9 added to shopping budget - walked past Iceland and couldnt resist. Its a good job I rarely go anywhere near there.
£1.60 parking, £58 diesel and manged to not spend any other money in town or hit the vending machine at work.
Oh just one more thing about meee. Expenses went into account so it looks good at £60 od. Still to come out is cc of around £570.:j0 -
Right how is everyone else getting on. GR has been awfully quiet (me thinks she is all loved up
!!), Dizzy was doing ok on Ebay and ISOM has been poorly
. How are you kbarty?

Hi Keeping Positive, I'm still reading even if I might not reply too often
I'm still plodding along but we've had a tight month till tax credits come in tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have a better idea of where we are then.
Hope you sort out something with your job, it's no good working when you're unhappy but I know it's necessary sometimes.Debts - [STRIKE]£9925.64[/STRIKE] £8841.88 :T Aiming to get below £9k by the end of Oct.:D:D November aim - sub £7.5k!

Hello
Meeting went well today. Got some good tips and feedback so hoping I can put this into practice and things will improve.
Treated to a lovely meal at lunch so today is a no spend day:j .
Slightly annoying was a reminder to pay £47.50 towards a trip for the kids I had booked earlier in the year. Forgot I had only paid half  . I dont help myself do I?
One poll up to £5.30 already. No movement on quidco or pigsback.:j0 -
Kbarty
How do the figures look?:j0 -
Hiya,
better! I hate when my balance is looking so low as I'm terrible for forgetting about things coming out and it's stung us a few times. All looking more healthier now though!
I've figured that I should be able to pay off at least £400 off my overdraft this month. Well that's providing I haven't missed anything with my figures (highly likely ) and nothing comes up between now and the end of the month. I'm also transferring just under £1200 to a 0% card so it won't be an o/d any more (yay!). So after the balance transfer goes, and my £400 there should only be a £400 o/d left on that account. Should help the interest paid anyway, was £20 this month!
I have loads of e-mails for surveys so might get going with them soon and I really must do some more ebay and amazon selling. I did not bad at the beg of this month but have had a rest this week.
Good to hear the meeting went well and :T:T:T for the NSD! We had one today too and hopefully tomorrow will be as well.:TDebts - [STRIKE]£9925.64[/STRIKE] £8841.88 :T Aiming to get below £9k by the end of Oct.:D:D November aim - sub £7.5k!

Moving most of the balance to a 0% card is a good idea. Eaier to pay off credit cards than an overdraft. Ill have to look to see if I can do that on one of my inactive cards maybe?
I found Amazon selling really easy so maybe list some stuff first and then just wait and see. Ebay for me was harder and not really profitable. Fingers crossed nowt comes up for you for the rest of the month and you can hit the £400.:j0 -
