  • My finances ok...amazing how no petrol makes such a huge difference to what goes out...also using up stuff from house rather than shop all time...ourse sounds my idea of hell..mathematically dyslexic and dire with figures!! will have paid o/d back and may put 100 into emergency savings and 10- extra off cc...

  • Hi LTM07 It is scary how much and how quick they grow, Been fairly lucky with the girls they are both small so usually rarely have to buy often but recently seem to be on serious ongoing growth spurts, DD1 in particular.

DS grows much quicker and on top likes to put holes in things unlike the girls. Given up on clarks shoes for him. £3.50 trainers from Wollies at the moment!

Ref camping yeah I do crave a bit of comfort sometimes. I said to OH when packing up hes lucky I dont mind crawling over muddy groundsheets! He just came back with a smutty comment as usual!

    Hi KP

I gave up camping quite a while back.... decided I wanted more comfort, absolutely, being able to move around and read in bed easily were big pluses - don't know *how* I'd cope with littlies like yours, it always amazes me how much mothers manage to fit in.

    Xmas Saver!
If I had a brain, I'd be dangerous....... sorry re A+L, the account you need is the "Premier Direct Current Account", top left hand side, the bottom 2 are age related, the right hand one is a chargeable account, and thats the one that charges.
I know it says a miminum of £500 in per month, that is basically if you want all the services of the account, but for a quick £50. this is the one.

    Sorry for any confusion xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Oh, thats the one I got for my m.b.ing... it works well, if I don't have £500 coming in and out via matched betting, I just recycle some cash from my current account (I'm self employed so I get lots of lumps and bumps in my cash flow).

  • £10 to OH for lunch stuff inc yoghurts and fruit.

Gor RAC renewal though £23.38 a month for four months starting Oct . Good news is I think I can use Tesco vouchers so must remeber to check that out tomorrow. After using them a couple of times once through work they have been great both times so dont want to cancel if I can help it. My car is covered through work but since OH car is the old cavalier its worth covering just in case.

Joined Onepoll and have £3.15 may take a while to get to the £40 but every little helps as they say. Still got A&L to look into. Pigsback up to 1997 - so annoying they upped the vouchers to 11.50.

Used my birthday pressie today the nicer dicer. Easy to use think Im going to get the urge to want to do stews and casseroles so I can chop lots of veg!
