Hi
Another quiet day here. OH went on a long journey taking mate to a hospital appointment then to pick up golf clubs in the wrong direction. I then had hem drive another route to go to the trade shop with a friend! Her left at 9 spent 30 mins at home then got back at 5 with two other 30-45 min breaks. Daft thing is he loves it. I can drive myself to the shop no problem but he likes it so I just leave him to it!
Spent £43 so grocery budget blown this month but I do have two fairly full freezers soit should even out next month.
No other spends and no real chores done today. Kitchen looking ok but Ive still not managed to wash and put away all the dishes yet. They are just neatly stacked waiting for the next session.
OOPS ref spends OH filled car up so £45 there with £10 back for petrol money from mate.:j0 -
- I need to paint some of the bare plaster, eek. And the sunnier it gets, the more the dirt shows up! :eek:Rats!!!! :rotfl:
I do enjoy smilies sometimes ... they say so much!
Ditto the paintwork and smilies KC. 5 years we have been in this house and only the girls room painted. My once magnolia walls are a variety of various marks and stains
. One day Ill get the decluttering done and start thinking of painting but cant see that being too soon. Either the time, effort or cost gets in the way.
:j0 -
Its just a quick way of saying please let me know.I only type with one finger due to my disability so Im quite slow so always looking for ways to cut down what I type as my comuter will not support voice recognition software.
Daft isnt it - I was sat watching telly about an hour later and it came to me!! Obvious really  . I think there should be a list somewhere of all the usual acronyms.:j0 -

Hi KP
That five week month has really snookered you this month .... it does look like you know where the overspends are, and you're doing well on putting by for the bigger bills. Keep going!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Think the 5 week month has thrown spanner in the words, the gd thing is u can see where you have spent the extras and at least this can give u an idea for the rest of the month.
xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Yes 5 week months are a pain. My overshopping hasnt helped. The well stocked freezers should help so a bit of meal planning and shopping with lists should hopefully bring grocery budget down to £150/200. With £80 of school meals I need to start being more careful.
£100 due from OH on friday. Not sure what to do with it? Put towards OD, pay a cc or put into savings. Think Ill put it in bank and decide next week when March budget hits.
Heard some news earlier about government limiting the bonuses for my work. It was gonna be very small anyway due to the lower than budgetted profit. I hope this doesnt make it any lower. I worked flaming hard last year to hit my targets . On the other hand I guess I should be happy I have a job that seems fairly stable.:j0
