Dont worry about it KC I should check my receipts Im sure I get overcharges but just dont pay attention. They are very naughty. Hope you get it sorted and some compensation for your hassle.
Fairly productive afternoon. I have been doing a bit of prep work with the kids. DS helped with the carrots. He chopped them using the nicer dicer so I could par boil and freeze. DD2 did stewed apples with me I am now trying hard not to eat them as they again are for the freezer. We already have a large apple pie and small ones from a previous shop. DD1 peeled potates an helped with the par boiling so we can have yummy roasts today. They are all very tired though especially DD1 some not sure if she will be awake to enjoy her work!:j0 -
Thats lovely! I remember trying to make pastry with my mum when I was little! Good for you. And you have to have a few testers, don't you?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I remember baking and cooking with Mum and its one of my favourite memories of growing up. I want to pass that on to the kids. Its too easy to rely 100% on preprepared stuff which TBH I do rely on too much for ease. I am no masterchef but I can cook fairly reasonably. Cakes, pastry and roast dinners were/are my fav although I cheat with pastry these days
. Todays roasts were very yummy. I really enjoy doing cooking/baking the simple things.

Hmm, thinks i quite like the idea of having BS on my list. I was disappointed when I found out what it was:rotfl: :rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
