Can u not apply for free school meals based on oh being on benefits, long shot, but may be worth a try. If you stocked the freezer up hopefully this will take some pressure off the grocery shopping. Hopefully Feb mgt bring some things around for the better.
How are you, you seem to be running around after everybody. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
hi there,
Good that you have been going slower than normal! Hope that the intro back to work is slow...even if youre signed back doesent mean you have to ork f/t and if gp said staggered back to work recc they would be silly not to as would be against medical advice...so just go with it and enjoy the slower pace for a bit! Any new on oh's financial sit?Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Waiting till April when the new DROs are introduced. He should be paying £1 token payments but doen think he has started yet.
Trying to have a doing day today but failing so far. Will let you know progress later just about to spend some money on storage for the kids room. I am determined to find a way to keep their bedrooms reasonablly tidy and not complete tips.:j0 -
Hi KP, just popping on to say Hi. Just reading your diary makes me feel tired, and you've supposed to have been resting. Honestly you're a marvel you really are. Hope you settle back into work with ease.
Keep well

List of things to do in the half term - 1 week until W***!
Sort kids toys out with them
Tidy and declutter our room
Tidy and sort BS stuff
[strike]More baking[/strike]well a bit done
[STRIKE]Ensure kitchen stays tidy and decluttered [/STRIKE]-
Redo kitchen floor - definately needs doing I made footprints whilst cleaning the fridge
[strike]Clean fridge[/strike]
[STRIKE]
Clean Oven    cant tell you the last time I did that
[/STRIKE]Barely touched the list but at least the fridge is done. Only baking so far has been tortilla wraps and DD1 is finishing off some fairy cakes.
Kids rooms to be done tomorrow with OH. I spent £60 on storage  so the finished look should be good and easily maintained. Fed up with taking a day up to sort rooms every few months.
Oh and just to finish off I have been signed back as off Monday. Not sure if thats a :j or a  . Wont know if I dont try. I feel fine and have my sense of humour back with the kids.
Hope everyone well xx:j0 -
Make sure they take note of what your gp says, part time, easying you in, the last thing u want ot do is go back in, be worked like a flogged horse, then end up off again, put ur foot down.
Hope u feel ok, and that things are better now you have had a break. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Totally agree with mum2one .... make sure you don't get pushed too far too fast.
Admiring lots of baking getting done ... I don't seem to be able to do that. But I have to ask... what's BS? In terms of your list, I mean. I know what *I* think BS isbut I don't think it fits in your list!

Oh KP take it easy, do as everyone has suggested especially the GP and ease yourself back in gently. Yopu'll get no rewards for your efforts believe me.
Glad to see your still making lists though you really are putting me to shame. Take it easy hun xx0 -
BS for me means Body Shop. Its overrunning our bedroom at the moment. I have pretty much given it up at the moment. By the way if anyone has a bodyshop makeup fav there is 20% off at the moment for 2 weeks. Its online and instore.
Going to try my hardest not to get back in the pushing myself too hard at work. I do want to prove I am still good though. Sounds like the boss isnt happy with our team. Thing is hes never around to see. Whenever he says he will take a visit on it gets dropped.
I may do lists GR but not always successful at following it through!
Today was running around early getting DD1 and friend ready for party but needed to debug hair before. Had an unsed card, a bodyshop glitterball and £5 for pressie so need to add £5 to PN.
Went to MrTs afterwards for a top up shop that came to £56  seems to run out of all fresh stuff and cleaning bits. Talked to OH for a bit then went for a 2 hr snooze.
Should be sorting toys out but no motivation form me or OH.:j0 -
Oh of course it does! Sorry! I remember now, the home parties thing, and the amount of stock you had to set up with. to Mr T's - I hate them at the moment, I'm having a grumpy day about them and Sky at the moment. Tesco overcharged me, told me to take the receipt back to the shop, and when I did, today, I was told I needed the packaging before they could give me the refund. Lucky the d*mn thing's in the freezer, not the rubbish bin. I hate them! Sorry to sound off on your thread!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
