  • I think I am ready for work. Feeling alot calmer, less mood, swings starting to have a bit more energy. I dont feel ill enough to be off work any longer. My collegues have said things are better than before xmas and I think my Boss will ease me back into things so can but try. If it goes wrong again I might have to think of a career change. Theres more to life than a career and work.

Again similar with you OH and I can too easily back down where we are tired. Due to this rest we are working together so the kids are not getting away with so much.

DD1 came down but didnt say a word except to ask about baking. I was most surprised was getting ready for round 2. She has done the fairy cakes almost all on her own (very proud DD!). Im working on the wraps.

  • hugs for you...there is more to life than career but I think its just finding the balance...re going babck to work your boss has a duty to support you in return o work - esp when youve been on the sick....just go slow and do what you can. Do you have a return to work intervie? If so can you try and work out an easy return to work - maybe shorter days and doing som work from home? Just a thought...

  • Quiet couple of days spent £2 on kids yesterday and did barely anything housework wise. NSD today and lazed until mid pm. Washed up, made some tortilla dough and cooked dinner.

Saved on haircuts my usual neighbour been really busy later and had family issues so go another neighbour to do OH and Kids for nowt. I do usually pay her a bit even though she says no but this time taking her to the food outlet shop I love so we can both stock up. Ill still give her some cash or maybe some BS stuff just need to time it.

    Hope all ok xx

  • :rotfl: Beanielou although what does PLMK mean?

I can try at least. At the moment it doesnt take much to clear and tidy compared to the week before I would like to keep it that way for as long as possible. I have given up on the front room though leaving that to OH!

Oh Beanie, sorry to hear thats why you used the acronym ... I confess, I didn't know what it meant either  ... glad somebody else asked (nods happily to KP :D) ....

a tidy and decluttered kitchen ... not on this planet! :p And I'm finally recognising it - mine's going to get a little bit decluttered next week, as I've finally finished the most recent batch of paperwork (as finished as its going to get, anyway) - I need to paint some of the bare plaster, eek. And the sunnier it gets, the more the dirt shows up! :eek:Rats!!!! :rotfl:

I do enjoy smilies sometimes ... they say so much!
