So sorry to hear the sad news KP. Big hugz to you all.
My budget is blown too, but you know what...at the moment I really don't care. Will do in January though, but what the heck. Will sort it out then.
Puts things in perspective doesn't it KP when you get sad news like you have.

crap innit this dfw stuff at Christmas...sorry to hear about FIL...re the budget guess we all have to just wipe off a certain amount and start again...have to say i've been mega frugal with pressies although spent a fair but on beaing stuff so like you over budget! Hang in there me lovey...we'll get there in the end!

OH kindly wrapped the remaining pressents we had. I didnt fel up to it aftr hurting my back in the first stint. OK day today a few bits done and the weekend was good because we finally got around to sorting out DD2 and DS 's room out. What a tip. Two large black bags of rubish, a box and half a black bag or items to be sold and still what seems like far too many toys left before xmas. Thankfully the olser two seem to like smaller (slthough more expensive) things now.

Took Mum to see my sister today and as ecpected it updet me. Manged not to cry but really felt like it. No point I would just upset Mum. Sis didnt seem too happy today although whats really going on in her head is pretty much impossible to tell. I want my sis back other than stuborness she seems to have lost all her personality. She had so much maybe too much but right now who cares. Im sorry typing this has started the tears. Lifs's so carp.

Mums a bit down and seems a bit confused. I need to go over and help herout a bit. Thing is I get too bossy and it puts her off. She doesnt get that I can so these things like bill sorting. She doesnt like asking me to drive to my Sis's place since the first time (two years ago) I crashed. Since then I have done almost 20k business miles and a good few personal. I drive to new places once twice a week so I can easily drive an hour down the road!! Its just finding time and the will to go. OH drove this time so he got out the house. Nephew watched the kids, a nice surprise as they were coming with us and would have been bored.

Did a budget earier and not terrible but tight. Need to knuckle down ASAP to stop the recent overspending and start saving for next years holiday and xmas. Doesnt look like I can rely on a bonus this year .

Sorry for the long post just need to get rid I guess.

Tomorrow I need to do a list of last minute bits to do and stuff to get.

FIL's OP went well. They didnt look at the bowel that now needs to go through the docs again. Hopefully out tomorrow.

DD1 been looking for presents aroundthe house with her friend now she knows the truth. Vaery funny towatch. I have got them convinced they are in the loft (they arent they are in the airing cupboard).

Last shooping list coming together. I ll go around 4ish to see what deals I can get. OH has been to Oxford and back queing for ages to get last min pressents for kids from my Mum. The thing I wanted for DD1 was only at that store.

A bit of tidying up to do. Prob wont see MIL tomorrow if FIL out as DD1 has fluy symptoms and we dont want to risk him getting ill.

aww kp sound a bit rough there? This time of year is exhausting isnt it eh...Next year wasnt to have a cash neutral Christmas but will have to be organised and not spend vouchers I get on things I want rather than need but save them for pressies! Hope you are ok and that Christmas is peacheful and enjoyable despite all that needs doing...huge hugs for ou - sounds like you need them. Hang in there and remember its a new year soon and we can wips the slate clean and start - yet again!!

Merry Xmas all

FIL due out today, Kids happy with new pressies although disppointed noone here to share dinner with us. Dinner almost ready havent burnt anything yet!

DD1 still not 100% and now DD2 has a xore throught so lots of calpol/nurofen for kids required.
