  • Hi
I've got a parcel with dimensions 85x88x31cm which weighs 13.5kg. I notice that there are restrictions of 120x60x60cm on the PPW website - is it the total volume that matters, (in which case my parcel should be ok), or am I out of luck? If they won't take it, can you recommend anyone that will?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
You can post it but the PPW will be charge extra by DHL that's why it's not really fair. Otherwise you can use Interparcel.com

    Hi ArmitageShanks,
Can you please what exactly will change next month?
    Thanks

Any DHL re-seller is facing a 80% increase. What that will equate to in sale price I don't know, at a guess £8.50+???

Amended, was only a special offer.

The bad news is next month they could well be the cheapest. But for anyone who hasn't used them, they are very good.

    WARNING ABOUT PPW

Seems they like to pull a fast one on you - I've booked a few 24hr business to business and 1/2 day home delivery collections over the last few weeks. Problem is that they then book them in with DHL as 3 day home delivery service. Which is not what I've paid for at all!

It always pays to be nice to your regular DHL driver - it's amazing what you can find out ;)

  • What does the copy of the manifest say HECO or HND? Did they get delivered next day though?

Also there is no such thing as a 3 day Home Service.

I would not recommend Parcel2go, which seems to use DHL, both times we have used them, both of the items packed in original packaging and not opened have arrived damaged.

I use a number of couriers each week for my ebay bits, and no other company have damaged anything - only DHL - and Parcel2go are useless at customer service, avoid.

ArmitageShanks, is it worthwhile adding some top up insurance information to the op? I've just asked around about this so I've got some current information for you if it's useful?

ppw express: £500 top up is £9
interparcel: £500 top up is £10
express packages: £500 top up is £5
payperparcel doesn't currently offer top up insurance but they say they're looking into it

    Hope that helps :-)

I am having trouble with them at the minute - original delivery and failed delivery collection both failed! So have been waiting two days now...
